ロールプレイングの要素を大きく取り入れ、前作の「ワンダーボーイ」とは全く別のアクションゲームとなったが、コミカルなキャラクターとバランスの取れたゲーム性から今回もヒット作品となった。ゲーム内容は、敵を倒してゴールドを集め、装備をパワーアップしていくロールプレイング的な要素が濃い。最後に待ち受けるドラゴンを退治するのが最終的な目的である。また、住民と会話して情報をもらったり、レバーを下に入れて魔法を使用したりできる。レバーを左右に振るなどして、通常よりも高価なゴールドを出す技がある。

Use your sword to fight monsters and defeat the Dragon. Collect gold to upgrade your boots, shield and armor, and defeat bosses to strengthen your sword. Most stages include a boss, that once defeated leaves behind a key to the next stage.

All this reminds me of my tender youth. Hours of playing this game. Only good memories . Yes, I still play it from time to time on my tablet thanks to an emulator, and I still like it as much as I did at the very beginning. Even though I'm 45, it still fascinates me.
Mein erstes Spiel das ich mit 1 credit durchgespielt habe. Seit ich 13 bin liebe ich dieses Spiel... jetzt werde 50 und spiele es immernoch. Für mich eines der besten spiele die jemals programmiert wurden, auch die Musik ist einfach perfekt. Ich hätte sehr gerne das orginal arcade cabinet, das wäre ein Traum. Viele Grüße an alle liebhaber dieses unglaublich tollen Spiel. Gratulation an die Programmierer, die hätten ein Preis verdient dafür.

このゲームはコツをつかめばクリアは安定するので、その後はやはり残りゴールドの記録を目指しますが、自分は所謂「レバガチャ」がヘタだったので5000Gも残せませんでした。装備をケチっても敵が結構な確率でより高いものを落とすのでそれはそれで面白かったです。
This is the best walkthrough of the game I've seen. It is just ridiculous how many 65s of gold are gathered! I've never seen anything like it. And on top of all that, he didn't even get the legend armour, boots and shield.... wtf?
The trick to getting 65+ gold is use a tornado 🌪 before jumping to get the hidden coins. Works like a charm in the arcades lol
If no tornado toggle the joystick.

唯一クリアしたゲーム。
何で2面で伝説の靴買わないのかなと思ってたら金残しのアタックだったのかなるほど💡
しかし7000円残しはすごいな💧
俺も当時、最高で5000G代中盤、銀玉も倒しまくってスコアは650万ちょい割れるくらいまで…
だったか…ならやれた事があったけど…。
コレはまぁ凄い。達人の領域ですわ。

これ面白いんだけど難しいんだよな。どっちかと言うと移植版、PCエンジンのビックリマンワールドでやってたけど。メガドライブで出た次のワンダーボーイV モンスターワールドIIIはもう究極のゲームだと思った。
G増殖技が使えん分、PCEのビックリマンの方がむしろ難しいくらいなんですが…😅

which kind of joystick was used? not simple to do with a pad the coin trick to get 65 gold... the original arcade stick was good to do it..but in this gameplay is really really fast..
