    I have been a voluntary English teacher at Sungai Rengit since 2005. I used to come to this place twice a month until we ended our teaching mission 2017. My students could have graduated from universities and become professionals.
    This village, people, seafood and everything else still looks so familiar. "How I wish I could turn back the clock and put time to a stop."

    • @BreakawayBites
      @BreakawayBites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, nostalgic ..eh... To be honest, Sungai Rengit hasn't really changed that much .. maybe a few buildings , school ...other than that... pretty quiet and a nice getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city...They serve great seafood too.... I like coming back here every once in while... Stay safe ..and thanks for the support.

    Hi, enjoyed your video. Wondering where exactly in Desaru is the beach in your video? I have been to Desaru but haven’t see the kind of waters and wide beach seen in your video

    • @BreakawayBites
      @BreakawayBites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Firstly, Thanks for watching the vlog and appreciate the support. Actually , this is main open beach ( when everyone can access / with car parks ) not the private hotel beaches. The open beach is quite wide you can stroll around. Yeah, as for waves, depends on the timing as well, just so happens, the moment we arrived , waves & breeze were pretty strong so it was awesome feeling.

    Go Sungai Rengit must eat their lobsters, bro! But heard the catch is lesser these days (due to the development of the petrochemical industry) and thus more expensive perhaps.

    Hello,may I know which part of beach you at?cus lotus desaru wont alot us to set camp there

    • @BreakawayBites
      @BreakawayBites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the open beach area....You need to go further beyond Lotus Desaru...( around another 200 or 300 m further down on ) . The open beach on your left hand side has a public can park area and lotsa of greenery...The whole entire beach area around 1km is free to access. Thanks for watching.

    Do Grab cover Desaru area ? or are there any taxi ? how to get around if you dont bring car ?

    • @BreakawayBites
      @BreakawayBites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hhmm, That's a very good question and a tough one to answer. Technically there should be Grab service but due to the area, is pretty small and remote, and i have tried it before there .. I can't really know for sure about the service. i do know there is a Taxi service in the Sungai Rengit - Desaru Area.... Best option i can think of.. Arrange a transport

    • @anakandajenius1481
      @anakandajenius1481 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BreakawayBites thank you for the answer. I guess I can try when I get there else fails I think I will just ask the hotel to arrange transport or find me a taxi. It seems really beautiful beach.. and those seafood really make me drool.
