After using the bike for a while, what does the glass look like with all that oil spray from the inside? Does it look good or does it look dirty or smeared with oil?
There is a guy on s1000rr forums saying his dbk clutch play exploded twice. I have the kit installed and I’m concerned now. Have you ever heard of this? The clutch pressure plate just completely broke where it was screwed and metal shavings was in his motor
Check with the retailer that you purchased your clutch cover kit from. There was a small batch of Clutch Pressure Plates that had a manufacturing defect. DBK Special Parts issued a technical campaign about these plates. We sent an email to all of our affected customers and have sent out replacement parts to remedy the issue for Motovationusa.com customers. You can inspect the Clutch Pressure Plate for any signs of wear or cracking to help ease your mind. Note: this Clutch Pressure Plate is only possible on the S1000RR. The M1000RR has a different clutch pack that does not accept the Clutch Pressure Plate.
I keep flipping the coin on one of these. Just wondering how they look after a year? Awesome when new but how long? I don't see where one can order the Lexan separately.
No oil drain necessary. We did this on the motorcycle stand (straight up and down), and it is also possible to do this on the side stand without draining the oil. Do be mindful that you need to be careful to keep debris out of the engine with this install.
Am getting this
Black and Red are currently in stock. 🤙

Great video! Just ordered the blue for my 22! 🏁🏁🏁
Nicely done!
It's a great piece that accentuates the mechanical nature of the bike!

Did you use the torque wrench when tightening the screws?Or could you tell me how many Newton-meters of torque should I tight the screws?
Consult the BMW service manual for torque specs.
