    "We can't hear the music when we judge." Wow. That's so beautiful. So profound and true. If we all received what we "deserve", we'd all end up with stage IV cancer. Prayers for Rush Limbaugh. Namaste. 🙏🏻

    I love that you covered all the rebuttals that I would have to such a question. I forget, sometimes, how I first thought about karma before I started my personal spiritual perspective. Some look at Karma more like an Original Sin for which they will eternally suffer. On my Path in meditation I realized that it's unwise or want to punish anyone. I prefer to pray every day for divine mercy for everyone on this planet because far too often they have no idea what they or doing or why. So much lies in peoples subconscious that they are controlled by egoic selfish desires without realizing why the recurrent patterns (essentially karma) in their life happen.

    Judgement seems to me one of the greatest issues of our age. It’s difficult to overcome as we can end up judging our judgement or the judgement of others. Your self aware perspective is a guiding light in all of this 🙏

    "The desire for there to be an on-going relationship- LIVING. Don't lock down what something is, what it means, what it was, too tightly. Because then you're not leaving room for grace to surprise you. You're not leaving room for mercy to pour through. For beauty to flip a perspective."
    -I got so much from this video.

    Acyuta would you consider making a video on the 9th House? I find it very interesting that it rules dreams, visions, divination, mystical experiences and spirituality but I can't find a great deal of information on it because everything that comes up on those topics incorrectly points me to the 12th House due to modern astrology turning the 12th House into the "Neptune House." I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this fascinating house, especially because you have your Moon there.

    I needed to hear this. Judgement has had a hold on me and is triggered through the challenging souls in my life. I love your analogy of the flute which is the first instrument I learned to play. Maybe this will help to heal my hip. Namaste

    Thank you for treating this with gentle dignity - it's so easy in present times to rail against those that don't share our values. It's a teachable moment and your example is uplifting.
    Second, any possibility this is Saturn-Pluto connected? I believe the actual conjunction was on his ascendant. Also speaks of the fall of a leader of a movement as you discussed around that time?

    This is a subject that everyone has some opinion about. Another word for karma is payback, the notion that we earn the results of our "good" thoughts and actions, as well as our "bad" thoughts and actions. Of course, it's not just black and white, and there are many shades of gray when it comes to karma. R.W. Emerson, who was one of the first writers to introduce Indian philosophy to the West wrote: "I believe the soul makes the body. I believe causality is perfect." And there's no denying, karma rules.

      No! Some are more illumined we might say but not "older."

    • @Adam-Elenbaas
      @Adam-Elenbaas  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tracymoorehead8523 Greene's ideas are not rooted in traditional astrology, especially with regard to the nodes of the Moon and the transmigration of the soul in relation to the birth chart. The concept of an "old" soul is a poetic notion that refers to the degree to which any soul is illumined from within. However, all souls are timeless and eternal and so the saying has to be understood within that context.

    • @tracymoorehead8523
      @tracymoorehead8523 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Adam-Elenbaas I entered the wrong name; sorry. "Jeff Green ". I was referring to the Evolutionary Journey of the Soul series, which is based on the relationship between Pluto and the nodes, actually, and the Soul. I do understand the poetic nature of the term Old Soul and how it is misused, Thank You.

    what it means to be a soulmaker?

  • @SusanHopkinson
    @SusanHopkinson 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Too many people in the West apply Judeo-Christian notions of retribution for sin to the idea of Karma. Karma is the result of past actions. Whether these are “good” or “bad” is purely subjective and has nothing to do with human justice or vindication.

  • @tracymoorehead8523
    @tracymoorehead8523 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    There is a higher justice.. that's why our thinking is incapable of comprehending the process.

  • @noellee1439

    You live and then you die: that IS OUR KARMA POINT BLANK PERIOD. To insinuate that someone gets what they deserve by having a horrible disease or dies in an accident is missing the mark for sure! Do we do crappy things as human beings? of course but these things are all nuances. Thank GOD for astrology. We can't even begin to understand fully why someone suffers and another doesn't. We need to work on not judging because we are not GOD. We also have UNIVERSAL LAWS like cause and effect that plays roles in all of our lives. Acyuta Dasa you did an ok job explaining. Thanks.

    Lol Karma hmmmm, to be or not to be that is the question? For every action there is a equal and opposite reaction,it's just science. There is a point where we can over come our own personal Karma but that is for Lifetimes of personal work, but even with that said we still are born into a genetic DNA Karma that goes back for 1,000's of years because DNA has memory. So if a Master that has over come his own personal Karma still has to rise above the Ancestors Karma. From my own experience I have come to know that when I approach what would be Karmic I just do what it takes to bring understanding and mental redirection as to how I choose to ( respond ) to any given experience,emotion, and or outside influence. Becoming aware of every thought and action that we create , cause and effect starts to become less polarized, hence Your Karma is not something to fear but used as a tool for power! When I have any causes that effect me in a negative way then I know that I need to bring balance into my reality, then I no longer feel any thing as Karma. It just becomes an experience then. Ok then I'm going to stop typing now. Sending Blessings of Peace,Love and Prosperity!
    Big Hugz Shanti
