Mr Kisubi plz encourage our 'Aging' Kadogoz to carry on with their lives!! Virtually every young Ugandan lost their innocence during the NRA war.... Our school lives were adversely affected all over! They were lucky to live to tell their stories,many of our brothers here in Western Uganda weren't so lucky! And I mean very many! Virtually every family here lost a son or two... I wish them luck in trying to 'salvage' something from their 'Chairman'... Am sure they will need lots of luck...
I think to claim that the current treatment of former kadogos is based on tribe, that thinking is very wrong. The problem is CORRUPTION! I have heard this veteran claiming that most of the guns that liberated Kampala came from Kayiira is very very wrong. Even if the 1 lorryful of guns which were rescued by NRA were still operational, it took very many guns, of all types to capture Kampala. These guns came from Kabamba, Masindi, Rubona, Simba, Kadijjajirwa, and others from Libya and Tz. Kayiira's were only a small part. Of course they played a role in the war. As for the kadogos, Gen M7 and his team (High Command, Army Council, etc) need to find a lasting solution to their cries. Their contribution was very important.
