The Binomial Cube, Montessori, the first lesson

This is the introduction to the Montessori Binomial Cube - it is first presented as a puzzle that will develop concentration and sequencing skills for pre-school and primary grades. The Control of Error sheet indirectly prepares the student for later lessons that name the parts and the creation of the Algebraic formula. It is a concrete representation of the more abstract concept of (a + b)³.
