I hv Asia pear with rust ruining more fruits each year. Hv a quince and a juniper near by, but I see no evidence of rust in either of them. Strange. Thinking to cut back the pear very hard in fall, as remedy. Good or bad idea? In northern VA.
Is it possible to have two different types of rust? One leaf has some black spots or dark brown spots as well as a few brighter orange/red spots more reminiscent of rust
Very informative and well-presented video on this topic.
Thank you for this video. My pear tree is severly infected so I will need to take these measures.
My apple trees are badly infected too. I will spray them this year
Thank you. Good info.
Great info. It probably doesn’t do any good to treat before the leaves bloom on the pear tree?
Treat throughout fall and winter and early spring to help prevent

do I reapply the fungicide to my apple trees if it rains after I applied it or wait for the 10 day mark?
Reapply. Rain washes it away
