How do you level your string line?? Probably really simple but I just can’t get my head around it. Wild guess... a laser level on both stakes at each end?? Please help. Thanks. Video is awsome!
Lee Benson Fencing thanks for that! I have another question. Installing colourbond fence directly on a concrete slab. Can you get feet that can bolt to the ground and the posts go on that?... ive just built and doing everything myself. Any help would be appreciated
I have clay soil in Canberra. Is it possible to install it without concreting for the case if I want to move them later? Can I concrete them so that I can move later if needed?
Great work, How would u get the sheets to rake on angle land? And also do u make all the post plumb on slopes? Does it use 3 or 4 sheets per a panel? Thanks
Hi Lee awesome video. i'm planning on putting a fence/gate over a 3m span. The gatewould be standard size, qhats the best way to install in the run of fence panels? any help would be appreciated. cheers :)
I'm surprised how easy to put the post into unmixed concrete. Plenty of water and concrete and the post can slid in so easily??? Hmm I'm installing one in a month's time not sure if I dare to do what he does. But it looks so easy.
Beautiful video but, you did not mentioned about PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). When you spoke about windy day, you supposed to talk about the PPE. Overall, well-done!
Nice video mate, but please use correct terminology ..It's plumb not level..The stringline is 'level'..The posts need to be 'plumb' ..But still nice work !
Nice work!
When I screw the post together I mark 1.8m down in the middle and screw it, So that when I put my rails in they sit on top of the screws 😊
East as winking.
It has been 35 years since I built stone and timber retaining walls.... These panels look so easy to install.
I followed your video for my project and it really helped me understand the best way to do it. Thanks heaps for this, much appreciated.
I like the way you set the posts while the quick set was partially dry. Lots of tricks in the vid!
Nathan Unsworth no worries mate👍👍
Good to see a another good contractor around.
Well done :)
Wow, thanks guys
Genius people like you who make a laymans life easy. thank you brother for your helpful video
Happy to help
Thank you for your helpful, well executed fence installation demonstration.
Pull string lines on the top & bottom as a precaution. That will make plumbing your post quicker and that makes it easy to notice any un-plumb posts.
Really good video. Can you please do a video on running and leveling the string line?
A magentic spirit level helps big time doing this job.
👍 So true Anger can ruin anything if you let it. Great vid ty.
Ha ha
Fantastic instructional video - thanks!!
How much time you waited for the posts cement to dry out ? Thanks
Thanks great information 🙏🙏🙏
I’m doing a little infill at home dimensions between the posts are 750mm what size do I cut the sheet please
Great video thanks mate!
great video, can this be installed with 2 x 200mm sleepers? do they just slot into the upright posts? Cheers
Yes they can.
How long u wait for concrete to set before u start putting panels

Yeah laser level, but it depends how precise you want to be. Levelling with a 1200mm spirit level can do the trick on small runs.

Laser level OR a Line level
Learning every day - thanks for this. What do you think: Concrete sleepers v the colorbond aluminium sleepers?
I like concrete sleepers
Thanks. Very understandable.
Good job!
Drago Dereta no worries mate. Hope it has helped you install your Colorbond fence
I have clay soil in Canberra. Is it possible to install it without concreting for the case if I want to move them later? Can I concrete them so that I can move later if needed?
Concrete wooden posts and screw rail to wooden post. Only losing posts when removing fence
Colourbond is very affordable I’d just cut the posts of and replace if I wanted to move it at a later time
Great work, How would u get the sheets to rake on angle land? And also do u make all the post plumb on slopes? Does it use 3 or 4 sheets per a panel? Thanks
Make the posts plumb and use the rail as a spacer as per normal. But then get longer sheets and cut top and bottom on angle
@@leebenson77 how do you get the angles?
You step each bay as required
Where's your string line across the top ?
Pls guide me installation panel detail's and products technical details, if possible correct meeting is possible sir.
For 3 sheets colorbond panel what is the width of the rail 😊
What is the length of the rail😊
It can range from 2350mm to 2400mm depending on which state you live in

Need to mix the rapid set with the water you can’t just add water then the cement and leave it
the bag says specifically not to mix the concrete first. just following manufactures instructions
How did you level the string line?
They usually use a $20 Line Level
