I like both versions of Firefly we got so far but I wonder if Hasbro's going to do a retro card back one? Seems like that's what Hasbro does with the Star wars Black series line give us a main run then a archive and then an anniversary figure
Mine was wobbly. Beautiful figure though. But I’m hoping for a retro card in future with qc issues solved. Definitely moved over to retro as I prefer those original designs.
I’d seen a few where he was loose which is unfortunate. As you say beautiful figure. I think just having to wait a year for it then seeing him loose took a little of the shine away for me.
Good review. I had heard that there were QC issues with this latest version, as far as wobbly or whatever but mine is perfect, it never falls over and doesn’t feel loose or anything, I might have just been lucky though. I like both versions but actually like this one(#84) better.
Got both Classifieds, and the Mezco one. Yeah, there is always room for improvement, but this is definately a step up from the previous Cobra Island version. And the gadgets are more „modern day“.
Hey man don't worry about what you consider late. While technically correct the community always benefits from more reviews in the pool. Just stick to your formula and remain as objective as possible. My copy suffers from the wiggle-middle but at least his guns aren't warped! I think he looks good in the Trubble-Bubble with the NVG on. Good review!
My main complaint was the loose joint. I think the figure looks great but yeah a retro version would be an opportunity to correct that and possibly different accessories.

Nice looking figure. Too bad about the QC issues but sure that's Hasbro
Thankfully where it’s loose won’t impact posing him too much. Good look to the figure but after waiting a year it just took a little of the joy away.

I like them both too. Honestly it was just having to wait a year and then him arriving loose, took a little of the joy away.
I turned my CI firefly into a tombstone. Took his accessories and gave them to this firefly.

BTW the remote does fit between the notch on the back of the backpack.

Yeah some made it out ok so great that it wasn’t every one. I’m sure I can find a way to stiffen up that one joint. Rest of the figure is perfect.
Excellent work on the toy review! I was also disappointed in the QC issue with Firefly.
Considering we were made a whole year it was a bummer when I got him in hand.

So close to being my ideal version but I got a slightly floppy one as well.

Both versions are OK, not perfect but OK. Hoping for that 3rd version where they can nail it. Great review as always

Great figure but mines was so loose !!
Such a pain. And the rest of the joints were nice and tight. Just that one point on him was loose.
