Devon Classic - 11th September 2023 - Twinshock C - Maico 490

First go out with a new piston/rebore @ +1.50mm on the 81 490 Maico. Lots changed since last time, all new carb parts and settings, new airbox venting, different fuel mix for running in, so expected some teething issues!
Race 1 - all going well until held up and struggling to get the bike to pick up from low revs, finished 11th.
Race 2 - stalled in the slowest corner as it just wouldnt build revs off idle. Bump restarted after stopping the video and finished 26th of 27.
Race 3 - dropped the needle one clip and it was much crisper, although not quite right. Bit knackered, but finished 9th.
Overall, 11th of 34 in group.
