  • In this video I'm getting deeper into the Limbu culture, more specifically how they make their own traditional clothing that they export worldwide.
    This video is recorded together with ‪@yatridiary‬ aka www.yatricave.com he's a great friend and also guide. Make sure to contact him if you're thinking about some Nepal tours.

    With my TH-cam videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!
    **Support my channel and the people I meet**
    All donations will go back to the communities during my travels, this can be through staying or eating at small businesses or even donating this money right back through one of my donations projects.

    Hi Tim, if you would have made video in more attractive ways like slowmo or more filmic style while showing the wooden weaving machine, the way they weave and pop them up in highlight video/ starting video, then you would have more fans but im always ur fan since ur first visit to Nepal and ur contribution towards children. Thank you enjoy ur time Tim❤❤

    • @timtense
      @timtense  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, true but that's not really my style. I prefer the raw way of filming honestly.

    The way translator trying hard to explain about Limbu people 😂😂. Limbu are the one among 4 ethnic( Magar Gurung Limbu and Rai) of Worldwide famous Gurkha solders. And thaka(dhaka) art is connecting to limbu(Yakthung) mundhum and every houses of limbu people of eastern Nepal have atleast one type of those dhaka weaving machine.😀 Limbu ancestors were self sufficient by making thread from trees and making clothes during ancient period. And these thaka(dhaka) products are mainly exported to UK, Hongkong, Singapore where Limbu people serve and live as Gurkha solders during first and second world war to these days.

    The interpreter is useless. He should have just focused on interpreting not try to be a historian. His knowledge of Limbu culture is poor. Go and study Limbuwan history.
