His name's Tony MacMahon from county Clare. The two tunes he's playing(Extremely well) are Ships are sailing and Toss the feathers. The "Box" he's using is a grey Paolo Soprani tuned i think in C/D could be wrong no doubt i'll get righted.
The tuning is C#/D that's why it sounds so good because the bass is easier to play on a C#/D than a B/C. You have more choices on which way to move the bellows to suit the bass buttons.
While looking for a version of "Ships Are Sailing" I stumbled upon this. I had never heard of him,but now I want to listen to anything by him and take up the accordian!!! What kind of button box is that?

I think that's a D/D# layout, which is quite unusual.
