Balloons pop in the heat because the oxidation makes them stick together. Hot air expands but because they are stuck to another balloon it will break at that point and pop. Do a test, and tie a single balloon out in the sun... it will not pop if it's not overinflated. I recommend doing this with new colors or new brands that you've never used. It's always nice to know how they react! Good job Brittany!
Lady, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. You have a lot to offer. I've been binge watching your videos so much, and you do an awesome job with your designs.
Amazing lady. Always learning from you. Thank you for all your insight. So, to clarify no balloon shine at all for balloons installations directly in Sun. Or just specific brand?
Hi Maria, thank you and you are so welcome! I only have experience using Hi-shine. If you find a shine that does work well in the heat please do share. :)
So happy that it was helpful. Just do what you can moving forward for this event, make sure to under-inflate your balloons and place the decor in shade.
Hi, thank you for those tips. Do you do installs in colder weather, like between 35-50 degrees? Do you do installs in that weather or recommend your client to selects an indoor area instead?

Certain balloon brands will pop dark colors like Qualatex in the heat but I've found that Betallic/Sempertex dark colors work fairly good in heat.
Great advice as always. It proves that experience is often the best teacher. Gotta go through some thangs.
Thanks my lady. Haha if that ain't the truth. Experience can be the best teacher. Hopefully my experiences can be helpful for you guys!
Everything you mentioned here happened on my last outdoor installation. Huge disaster! Thank you for the tips.
Oh no, what happened?
@@balloongarland popping, fading, flying away. It was a birthday gift for a friend’s daughter. I had to basically redo everything.
@@mariaaviles3380 so sorry that happened to you.

Alright now Brittany. Been missing your videos. When’s the next one coming 🙂?
Hi Deana, you're so sweet! I will be back with a new video this week. :)
Will you use a weight instead of water weight for outdoor decor? Have you tried Kalisan balloons for decoration?
Water weights work as well! Yeap, I love Kalisan. Great quality balloons .
💥 What shine solutions can you use in thy hot sun?
None that I know of, maybe someone else has a recommendation...
