It's absolutely wonderful, my dear and great friend Ozden. After reading the lyrics, I understood that it's a romantic yet sad song. I truly enjoyed your beautiful creation, and through your videos, I've learned something about Japanese music. I find Japanese music very beautiful and unique in its style. I'm thrilled to see a new video from you after such a long time. Great work. Wishing you a fantastic weekend!

I always enjoyed reading your nice and very sincere comments my great friend Ossama. You're a great friend and always best supporter of my channel. I'm grateful. I continue to explore and share the music and other aspects of Japan, a distant country. The melody of the song was very eye-catching for me. I was curious about why composer Ryudo Uzaki used such an interesting sound in the intro of the song and what it meant. Yokosuka is a town located on a narrow bay on the site of former Japanese naval base where the US Navy fleet was stationed after World War II. Therefore if you are on the coast of Yokosuka, you may hear a hooter or similar signal sound coming from destroyers. Creative composer Ryodo Uzaki has added his music destroyer repetitive alarm siren sounds, emergency siren or similar signals coming from the destroyers in Yokosuka. This explains why we hear such a signal sound in the opening of a song by singer Momoe Yamaguchi, who grew up in Yokosuka town. Ryudo Uzaki began his popular music career in 1973, when he set up the rock & roll band, the Downtown Boogie-Woogie Band one of Japan's most popular rock bands at the time. As far as I understand, the song's rhythmic and fluid melody, which contains jazz and rock n roll influences, shows that the music trends that were fashionable in the world at that time were also loved and attracted attention in Japan. Momoe Yamaguchi is a nostalgic singer who is very popular in Japan.Dear Momoe spent her childhood and youth in Yokosuka. Throughout the video, I tried to show scenes from movies Momoe's starred in different ages, and the radar scanner system of a destroyer. I had to unwillingly take a break from video editing, which I loved very much. I think I'll be able to spend more time on video editing these days. May you always live in peace with your loved ones under the protection of God. With my greetings & esteem...

Yokosuka Sunset,Sunrise english translate Lyrics: Yoko Aki 阿木燿子 Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise.. The sun is setting on the horizon now It will rise tomorrow morning again. From peak of the hill We looked at the evening sun and the sea Then we nodded to each other The first love The first kiss received on the forehead Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise.. The sea breeze that rubs my cheeks Reminds me of sad and sweet memories No matter how much time passes The scar in my soul don't erased Summer ends and it's time to say goodbye I won't be able to see you anymore First love in the arms of your lover First kiss under the sun Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise.. Someday, in the same place again I want to watch the sunset once more Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise.. Still lives in my heart with its memories The town of my near and far memories

Yokosuka Sunset,Sunrise english translate
Lyrics: Yoko Aki 阿木燿子
Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise..
The sun is setting on the horizon now
It will rise tomorrow morning again.
From peak of the hill
We looked at the evening sun and the sea
Then we nodded to each other
The first love
The first kiss received on the forehead
Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise..
The sea breeze that rubs my cheeks
Reminds me of sad and sweet memories
No matter how much time passes
The scar in my soul don't erased
Summer ends and it's time to say goodbye
I won't be able to see you anymore
First love in the arms of your lover
First kiss under the sun
Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise..
Someday, in the same place again
I want to watch the sunset once more
Yokosuka sunset..Yokosuka sunrise..
Still lives in my heart with its memories
The town of my near and far memories
