Thank you for refocusing this issue away from this “individual” and focusing on the “person”. Killing, murder, is a sin. It is also the despicable act of assassination. To kill someone whose ideas differ from yours will destroy all of us.
Father Cristino has a lot of good points on people’s inability to have a debate or even discussion. I worked at a call center years ago before social media and callers felt entitled to abuse me if I didn’t have an immediate answer. Social media is just another way for unhappy people to spread their hate.
Stop and think....why is it so important cuz it's tRump??? What if it was a black drug addict??? Would there be such concern?? Talk about hatred misogyny and racusm...rRump..perhaps?

"A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies..." So more or less every people that has every existed? (Should read "cannot" rather than "can no longer.")
This is why it's necessary to consult multiple sources before forming an opinion on a subject. I read news articles from a variety of sources. Many mainstream media sources in the US are extremely biased. They are almost all liberal.
I feel the same about happenings in our close neighbor Canada. Especially given that there's some that I love up there. 🙏💕💝

Thank you for making this video and thank you to Father Cristino for his wise comments. Everything that Father predicted has come true. I know that some people who are not Trump supporters have denounced the attempt on his life (despite the continuous character assassinations), however, I have also heard first hand, someone who seemingly is a nice person, wishing out loud that the shooter hadn't missed. If you assassinate a person's character repeatedly and for a long enough period of time, the physical assassination becomes the next step and some people who buy into that rhetoric think that the action is then justified. They are unable to see the evil in all of this. I pray for the grace of discernment for myself, and for those who can no longer discern clearly what is truly good and what is truly evil.

I totally agree with you, I read all these comments and think, is Jesus a Republican. Yes, we need to focus more on our heavenly Father, our blessed Mother and our Pope 🙏
So how comes this news topic gets spoken about, but Our beloved Holy Land and Jewish brothers and sisters fighting for their lives, literally, has never been mentioned??
I had a friend text me and wanted to know if I was at that rally cuz she knows I go to political rallies I said no I was on the Eastern side of Pennsylvania not the Western and looked in to see if it was interesting and found out why she wanted to find out she was afraid I was in the crowd and it was dangerous.
I agree the candidates on all sides need to stay more with facts and issues as opposed to character assassination. President Trump spent 4 years as our president and he didn't turn into Hitler so calling him Hitler just seems to be looking for an inappropriate moniker that will resonate and scare people.
I had friends who did like Trump who immediately made snarky comments and I said it was disgusting somebody was killed three people were hurt.......& would they feel the same if it had been Biden. I wish no harm on anyone at theses rallys( candidates, workers, spectators), I just happened to feel when you tell the person to put the shoe on the other foot sometimes it puts it in perspective.
I am sad for the family of the man killed, concerned about the 2 wounded, relieved that President Trump doesn't rely on teleprompters( since bobbing his head around in conversation made the bullet miss deadly aim), & am concerned about ongoing safety.

Trump is notorious for negative rhetoric. You would have thought his brush with death might have created a kinder, more gentle person. Sadly, it has not. I do not wish him ill, but I would really like to see him behave /speak in a more kind,civil way. When you hear people say God was with him, what does that say about the man who died and those who were injured? I don't believe God wasn't with them.
Only God knows the bigger picture of all of this. 🙏🙏🙏
I would also say, like Many others, that there has been a change in him. Those who have very strong negative thoughts about him may be blinded by that. Once again we must pray for all of those in leadership of our Country.

It is very sad when anyone decides to take someone life. No matter who it is. An innocent person died. This is my first thought of the events. How sad, very sad that a young man decided to take another life. It happens every day. That is concerning. He didn't hate trump he just wanted to kill. As to democracy, there is an election in Russia. Putin always wins. What happens when someone opposes him. So just because there is an election does not guarantee democracy. For the past 8 years one person has consistently made crude comments about people who do not agree with him. Maybe he should stop also. I did not see the remarks you mentioned on social media. I did see suggestions that the assassination attempt was an anointing from God. Would that make everyone who has been shot anointed? I am not taking a political side. But it sounded like you did. This session should have been about the decline of human decency and how people think nothing of taking another life.
The liberal mainstream media has been vilifying Donald Trump for the past 8 years. He's no choir boy, but he is a human being created by God. As such, he should be treated as a child of God. We would all do well to pray for our politicians. We should pray for the ones that we dislike as well.
