just like Milosh Obilich, the hero of the battle of Kosovo

Ðorðe was fighting invaders and bandits,

Spent his childhood listening to songs about Vidovdan*,
and stories of Ottoman terror and crimes,
Which left mark on his soul, a mark
by which he started the uprising - a war for freedom

People who sneaked to him during the night,
assassinated him, and then took his place

Song is (to some extent) describing the Karadorde's war (15.2.1804. - 1813.) the biggest and the most important uprising against the Ottoman rule, in 19th century

Karadorde - the nickname Ottomans gave to Ðorde Petrovich meaning "the black George" (because he kept ruining all their plans)
Drina - (arguably) one of the most famous rivers in the region, mostly known as a symbol of the absurd divide among the Serbs - the East bank of the Drina river was free from the Ottomans since 1804. (and became Serbia) but the West bank of the Drina river wasn't and was ruled by others until 1918.
