James, Great Planes was purchased by Horizon Hobby. Horizon still sells some Great Planes ARF’s, including the Revolver. It is on backorder right now and I believe you can still get parts for it but hopefully you won’t need them. Looking forward to seeing the Revolver fly. Tom
Hi. I hope so. I have noticed that Tower has a lot on back order that never materialize. I hope they start offering them again, they are good planes. Im worried about Sig also, they seem to be offering less. I know they had a reorganization according to their site. I have been waiting for their 1/4 Clipped Wing Cub. That would be a great build log.
Hi, depends on how well they are taken care of and how often you fly, but treated well they should last many years. Follow the advice of the manufacturer for maintenance and running, and they last a long time
Hi there and very nice video and thanks for sharing. I have a few Saito engines and i love them all. At the minute i have an OS95V that i am putting up for sale. It was in an Escapade 61. Im going to replace that engine with either a Saito 100 or Saito 91. I dont have either engine but read tgat the Saito 100 vibrates a lot so that is now pointing me in the direction of a Saito 91. To your knowledge is there much difference between a Saito 91 and a Saito 91s?
Thanks for the comment. Sorry I don’t know the difference. I started looking but kept coming up with comparisons between Saito and OS. Im sure the answer is out there. If I find out, I’ll pass it on.
Im not sure. I am wondering myself. The instructions are a little light on info. I’m going to have to check some forums or others on youtube to see what people say.
Yep good point. Once getting it started, move behind to make adjustments. I usually try to follow good safety and it's always good to point it out. Thanks!
I have a Saito 91s, it is an impressive engine.
Saitos are great. I have a 45 I intend on breaking in soon.
Looking forward to the flying video James😀👍🛩️
Really nice run

what would be an approximate lifespan for these engines?

What size prop were you running?
I believe it was a 14-8

Only thing you didn’t do safely is stand in front of the engine when it was running. Always stand behind it

Did this engine come with a choke?
Yes, but I typically keep it open on start, starts right up.
