Dr. Patel, I have been conducting concrete NDT for 10 years. I am mostly focused on Pull-Out ASTMC900, ultrasonic and electromagnetic testing methods. In my experience, the mayor challenge has been that, if the structure was not propperly cured, the inner concrete and the cover layer will have different properties. Long story short, dispite my uncoditional love for High end NDT, we still have to do minimal conventional coring 😊.
