I agree wholeheartedly with you. 3:00 They are totally missing the point of the program. There's no point to block the audience from looking. Also making such a circus at the performance by those judges shows a lack of respect towards the singer. It reminded me of that idiot that always feels the need to throw her shoes to draw attention away from the singer to herself.
@@jhcfight it is a singing contest but it is also a show...while you may find no amuzament in dumb behaviour and stupid jokes,others are loving it and are cracking on laughter ...you can always listen without actually watching 🤗😉😅

So I found the answer, and I hope this is of interest to others. The Voice Belgium is a French-speaking Belgian reality television singing competition. The TV show is part of the international "Voice" franchise that started in the Netherlands as The Voice of Holland . It was kicked off on December 20, 2011, one month after its Flemish Belgian counterpart, The Voice van Vlaanderen went on air. It is currently airing on the one from RTBF network. [1] One of the important premises of the show is the quality of singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches can not see, but only hear the auditioner. So it would appear that Belgium, as in many other countries different regions withing those countries have such a strong alienation or whatever you might call it they are almost a separate country--similar to what is going on in Spain right now I suppose.

It places the focus more on the judges. The viewers miss the actual performance.
I think it kinda defines the notion of "blind audition..."and also adds some suspense...each to their own...
