what i really like about SHN is their gameplay. complete walkthrough, no unnecessary movement, directing their play to make it look like cinema. i can't watch other streamer after i watched SHN play.

Wanna play this SO bad, since I grew up on RE. They didn’t release it on Xbox One though. So, I watch SHN’s RE playthroughs while I fall asleep. Makes me very happy.

I agree one time I try to watch a TH-camr play a RE game on its debut he was literally talking over the dialogue and I couldn't even hear what the characters were saying ever since then I always just watch SHN and non commentary in general
I really do appreciate how you started the playthrough slowly instead of running full bore out the gate like most streamers
The details on the animations of Ashley interacting with the environoment is impressive. This game did the work very well of keeping the atmosphere and the quality of the original.
Did you guys miss any of the content from the original RE4 that wasn't here? U3 boss and Saddler's first fight (walking around the lab) were most noticeably gone, but I didn't mind. The whole remake flowed really well.

I didn't care for U3 in the original so I didn't care that was cut. But I wanted to see the laser room and see Leon do those flips lol
they made sure to remove some crazy stuff from the original that made no sense like the lava under the castle and that giant robot thing (what were they thinking lmao)

I finally finished the video and I just want to say that my favorite part of this almost 12 hour experience is Leon sitting on a throne, resting his cheek on his fist with all the chickens walking around. Powerful imagery. King shit.
The little 'Saddler vision' was how the ganado were apparently able to keep finding Leon no matter where he went. Damn Hive Mind....

so refreshing to find a channel like this playing games the RIGHT way! You see people on the internet playing games as if there is a timer (not talking about speedrunners obviously) running all over the place, spaming the sprint button in every game. It makes the games look bad and the playthroughs just suck. The way SHN plays feels so realistic, no HUD, just quality gameplay. This is the way I play my games as well. Bravo good sir.

At about the 3:33:01 mark I absolutely died laughing when Ashley got her foot stuck in the bear trap and SHN kind of just stood there and looked at her for a while. I couldn't help myself lmao
And then realized the game had probably glitched out and got a little worried.
If Leon keeps standing here for like 30 seconds, Ashley will try to get out of the trap all by herself (and succeed). No more "Leon, help".
I really like those remakes. Makes up for a great movie, instead of all the crappy "horror" actual movies currently offered.

i just got done watching this video a first time, and now i'm watching it again from the beginning! the quality of your content is amazing, you're going to be my channel of choice when it comes to gaming content because you just seem so reliable. the only "complaint" i have is that the video seemed to be very dark in certain parts, so it was a bit difficult to see what was happening at times, but that's such a minor thing :) thank you for your hard work i hope to see you cover all the eventual resident evil remakes.
I can barely watch a two-hour movie, but a gameplay of 11 goes by in no time. Keep up the good work!!!

Ashley and that Merchant look great in this remake. 44:44, "Oh look, it's the big cheese!" 5:46:41, the target practice minigame is there and I like how both Ashley and the Merchant commentate on how well you're doing and I'm sure Luis as well when partnering with him
Same nostalgic, but with new gameplay, graphics,and feature
regenerator is packed with cake in this remake. they're like a running cake that will haunt your bday party.

I have watched so many videos on your channel and absolutely love this RE4 remake however I think there are parts in the video that are very hard to see even if the brightness on my devices are turned way up also having some audio issues where some parts just randomly fall silent. It goes back after a few minutes. Nevertheless, I love watching you play RE games. Definitely my go-to channel.

This remake is perfect just wish Capcom would've kept Leon's one liners the same like "Women" and "I got gum" and Luis' "Ballistics" quote they were good. But I love Leon's attitude in the remake.

I agree. I was watching another RE4 remake walkthrough after I saw SHN's and it was bright. Maybe SHN didn't turn up the brightness or HDR
The more I watch the gameplay, the more I realize that the game did NOT need a remake, everything is almost intact, including the soundtracks and the noises the monsters make.

Well this remake is definitely better than the original version,more of a story here. Everything that was wrong with the original version,is completely fixed in this one. Great remake, great gameplay, made each monster or infected person actually even more scary. Which was an extra effort that just sent it over the top.

In my opinion the original will always be better for numerous reasons, such as commands for Ashley to "follow" or "stay put" not to mention render first aid to her if she was hurt. If she found something she could pass whatever item or items on to Leon so he could use them.
