Thank you for your video. I am in essaouira and you give me a lot of courage to go hitchhiking too in Marokko. I am still a bit afraid. But i was hitchhiking alot all over europe so lets see if i will try it too in Marokko. Have you got any clues and advice what to know before hitchhiking alone as a woman here in marocco?

Definitely do it! It’s easy as a white/european/tourist.. it’s our privilege (unfortunately one of the many privileges other people -like the locals- don’t have). Advice I would give (but I’m sure you know it already if you already hitchhiked): don’t hitchhike at night of course, wear long pants and a t-shirt that doesn’t show too much, be discrete :) and try a short distance first, for example this one, between 2 touristic places! Good luck!!!

I was referring to the letter غ .. isn’t that part of the Arabic alphabet and used in Arabic language? :)
