Film versus the early days of digital. I disagree, players have to be discouraged from even reaching that high. If they think they might get away with it, due to bad Ref decision making, they will aim at the head intentionally a lot more than now. Plus it makes the rules unnecessary complicated, every time you add "intent" to something, the Ref has to think about his decision more in a split-second situation. Not really. a. Although both were game winners, the Broncos could've won without that play. b. The Vikings were going against a defense that was much more conservative, while Tebow to DT was done against an aggressive man coverage with no safety help over the top.

Every defender ever is coached to tackle low and never have their hands that high. The penalty should have never happened. He touched the facemask. By rule, it's a facemask penalty
@@joeglenna7244 I honestly think that the facemask penalty should have rules, like it shouldn't be a penalty because every now and then while making a tackle of course you're gonna accidentally grab the facemask, but should only be a penalty if the facemask was clearly grabbed intentionally, like how Aqib Talib tackled Corey Brown in SB 50, he clearly did that on purpose because if he didn't Brown would've had a better chance of scoring
I disagree, players have to be discouraged from even reaching that high. If they think they might get away with it, due to bad Ref decision making, they will aim at the head intentionally a lot more than now. Plus it makes the rules unnecessary complicated, every time you add "intent" to something, the Ref has to think about his decision more in a split-second situation. a. Although both were game winners, the Broncos could've won without that play.
b. The Vikings were going against a defense that was much more conservative, while Tebow to DT was done against an aggressive man coverage with no safety help over the top.
@@mr.gentlezombie8709 Yeah Steelers did a rush 10 type of play so only one guy was in coverage (to pressure Tebow) so all DT had to do was get around ONE defender. Vikings is better because the possibility on that coverage of them winning is minuscule.
