Operation Bluecoat 2023 : 18th meeting for military vehicles & reenactors + WW2 German reenacting

- At the weekend of 29 & 30 of July, there was the 18th meeting of military vehicles, display & reenactment in Lichtaart (B).
Area 1 was a WW2 only terrain, while other vehicles and displays could show their displays at areas 2 & 3.

So nice to see german uniforms worn without shame. My Mom is of German origin & my Dad a Canadian WW2 vet. Dad reminded me, they were mostly just soldiers like myself. Thank you for sharing this. Cheers from Canada
Thats true, the wehrmacht were just young sodiers who did there job. Without (mostly) any politics involved.
it was definatly a fun event! and gotta say I'm still proud of the vietnam foxhole me and my buddies dug. the trech system was also extremely impressive.

Some of the equipment and vehicles on display are fantastic . I notice the red army doesn't appear to be represented is that due to difficulty in obtaining soviet era memorabilia ?
