Day 2 of The Camino de Santiago

Today we traveled from the town of Portomarin all the way to Palas de Rei (24 km). We stopped off at a few nice coffee shops and met a couple of SAffers along the way. Once we were near to Palas de Rei it really started to downpour with rain, so I decided to embrace it and wear flip flops. It was really amazing to see how high spirited the people on this journey are even when the weather doesn't play along. The day ended with a good nap, great food and lots of laughter.
