    The number matching original engine is the way to go, rather than switching it

    Why does the headlight have two holes that are the same size, One has a grommet the other doesn't, Just curious as I have three 1971 MT1's bikes I plan on rebuilding if I live long enough. Thanks for the very informative videos.

      Thats because that head light bucket is used on different bikes manufacturers use many parts on other bikes for example mt1 foot pegs and hardware are the same on the kawasaki g3ss

      The grommet is where the wires go through

    Just picked up a 74 G5 100. It is fouling plugs like crazy (running premix. Haven't checked to see if the oil injection works yet). I went through and cleaned the carb and adjusted the floats. Sometimes it will run fine for about 30 mins then foul the plug and die and other times it will run super super rough and bog like crazy when I give it gas. Any recommendations on what to do?

      If you are running premix and you are running automatic Oiler way too much oil don't premix this bike or you will damage rotory valve and right crankshaft bearing

      @@2strokeguru That's good to know! I do not believe the auto oiler is working. The tank is empty.

      Ok. Will that cause it to foul plugs left and right? Also, when it does get started up it is super smokey and when I pull the plug it is covered in oil.

    Hey Kevin I got the Same exact bike you have and It, just Refuses to start I've checked the ground and replaced the sparkplug/ignition-coil/Stator/magneto coils It's mainly just because there is No spark at all and I ordered; a spark control to replace the points, (Yes I still have the condenser in place) got any tips? I've been working on this for Months now and Nothing it just broke down like 7 months ago
