DIY clay cinnamoroll photo frame 🎀 (using ONLY light air dry clay!)

In this video I decorate my photo frame in the theme of cinnamoroll from sanrio! All of the charms and fake frosting/icing is made using ultra light air dry clay (foam clay). This is very easy and fun to make and the possibilities of frame designs are endless! They will make very cute gifts~
This project was inspired off of pinterest pins that use cinnamoroll charms and deco den icing to design photocard sleeves and photo frames. Most of their designs use pre-made materials so I thought of the idea to make everything from scratch using clay.

Does ur clay have already Color or do you paint it? Because the clay i found is grey:( and when u paint it, which Colors u use?
Is your clay foam clay (ultra light air dry clay)? It should be really stretchy! I have colored clay and for the colors I don’t have I use acrylic paint to color them! I mixed a little red paint with white clay to make pink
what is the difference with air dry clay, light air dry clay and polymer clay ?
They are all made with different materials and have different textures! Polymer clay is made with pvc and needs to be oven baked to harden. These are very durable and can be used to make jewelry. Regular air dry clay is good for sculptures and trays. Light air dry clay (foam clay) is soft and stretchy and is mostly used for decorative frames or for making desk miniatures. They dry into a hard foam texture but is still not as durable as the other clays. Regular air dry clay is too heavy and dense to be used to make this frame so foam clay is perfect for this!
