@@GilCVV the venue is very tall. Like there isn’t a lawn and it goes up steep. Picture the way the speakers hit that and therefore gets “trapped” in there for a taper like this. Not to mention it’s on the f’n ocean. Boom!!
@@stoopidalmanacI still don’t understand why tapers like this guy aren’t able to “plug directly into the soundboard”? I used to go to a few Phish shows here and there and collected a few tapes back 25-30yrs ago and I thought back then somebody told me that is what phish started doing for tapers. Maybe I’m remembering wrong or was told wrong. Maybe that’s not quite possible. I’m not a sound engineer and know very little about this stuff. But I’m just a bit surprised that a band like Slightly StOOpid doesn’t help facilitate more and better live recordings to be made of their shows for more of their fan base to enjoy…? TIA for any reply or explanation. Just curious… 😊
