Voice of Baceprot (pronounced 'bah-che-prot') often abbreviated as VOB - are an Indonesian all-female rock band formed in Garut, West Java in 2014. [1][2][3] Consisting of young hijab-wearing trio Firdda Marsya Kurnia (vocals and guitar), Widi Rahmawati (bass), and Euis Siti Aisyah (drums), the word "baceprot" from their band name comes from the Sundanese language meaning "noisy". It was chosen to represent the type of music that they play. they are a school band, just learned a music instrument in 2014, and they learned music from the teacher at their school. with limited musical instruments too, they are live in a village very far from the frenzy of metal rock music, initially they were forbidden to make music by their families, because there women were not used to playing music let alone rock music, VOB therapy persisted despite many rejections in the community. around them. they kept fighting and their video playing music was re-tweeted by Flea RHCP and Tom Morello RATM. This month they are on a European tour and next year they were invited to play on the Wacken Tour in Germany and Ceko Republic

This is like a song of pride for them because it about their "culture" refusing to accept the fact women can play music like others. A long story short they have been threatened, hurt and attacked with rocks threatening them to stop. They refuse to and choose to express their thoughts and beliefs through their music. It is seen in video messages and lyrics. What they represent is very powerful. Thats why they were dubbed , " The metal band the world needs now."

The song Outpouring of the heart of a third VOB personnel, which in fact the three of them are Muslim women (hijab) and live among people who understand the science of religion (islam). It's clear that in the end the people around them don't give or even support them. They make music by carrying the Metal genre. sometimes we men are not allowed to play metal music, especially those who are clearly Muslim women (hijab). May the message of the three of them be conveyed to the world.. so that the world knows that musicians in Indonesia are full of obstacles to develop. And what to note... That this song carries a good message for us to ponder and find a solution, not incitement to rebellion..
