SOFT. today i had 4 BOOM BOTS (brann into dr boom), OUT OF 4 TARGETS, ALL HIT MY FACE FOR 4 DAMAGE (its also funny how its all 4s...), BUT WAIT, theres more. Then he plays doomguard and kills me. I had 21 health....21 fking health....

Jason Miller i didnt screen shot cos its not rare....i once had enemy use that rafaam deal 10 damage randomly, out of 4 miniosn and my face, all 10 hit my face and killed me LOL. This kind of RNG is super frequent. I sometimes envy Raynad's good RNGs xD But let me see if my play.tv was turned on when i played, if so it records it
+ZDY Look on the bright side, if you were playing against druid, the same thing would have happened
+ZDY Those kind of RNG rolls happen like once in 10 games. For that succeed "super frequently", say once in 3 months, you would have to play 2000 games daily
Nikolai Hoskonen i major in business and specialize minor in statistics, operations management, and operations strategy. I know exasctly what u mean. But i have no way to answer that by...it really just happen to get it frequently. I am the variance. I am that one guy out of god knows how many who catches these. I talk to myself all the tiem as they happen. I rage out loud and then i take my calculator out and calculate the probablilities. And i think to myself its next to impossible for consecutive small chances to occur. BUt it does....i have no other way to say it. it just..happens. If u follow simply geometric probability, its almost impossible. If u follow normal distribution, its almost impossible (im assuming hearthstone beign normally distributed, i could be wrong). BUT IT JUST HAPPENS. ONCE I HAD RAFAAM ARTIFACT HIT MY FACE 10 TIMES OUT OF 4 TARGETS AND I DIED LOL (yes the chances are so small that its displayed in scientific values)

+NumdegasedUHC Technically speaking, there are 64 total including the barongeddon and face, but here we are assuming they will hit the barongeddon since both did, in this case there are a total of 16 possibilities. This is can be calcualted by seeing that there are two boom bots with a range of 1-4 damage so you do 4*4. Now the only possible outcome that reynad didnt want was the 1 and 1 which is what he got. Therefore he wanted the other 15 since 16-1.
+dsf Cube technically speaking, there are 56 total because if the first boom bot kills baron geddon (by rolling a 3 or 4) then the second one can only hit face. 6 * 8 + 2 * 4 = 56. One of them is the one that happened, and thus, 55 other possibilities.
+NumdegasedUHC Well, then again you also have to consider that if Baron Geddon dies, then it doesn't really matter by how much he dies, does it? And also, several different possibilities end with the same amount of damage hitting face and geddon and stuff like that, so finding the different outcomes from the 56 rolls you could have would be a lesser number, but I'm not willing to do the math necessary to find that number right now. So yeah.

Actually the worst minion you could have gotten was Doomsayer.
No, Doomsayer stops a turn 6 play from the Druid such as a 5 drop, 6 drop or innervate 7-8 drop. The aspirant only slowed Reynad down in the most important matchup.

Yeah - there's a 50/50 chance of that brawl going poorly for you there, buddy. On the other hand, if it didn't work out like that, your opponent would have just wasted 9 mana.( 1:11 ) That's risk vs reward. Deal with it.
