At last. The police should have been doing this years ago, and now of course it's got completely out of hand. There was another incident like this one shown on TH-cam at the Tower of London, where a yeoman warder had to shout several times at a group to get out of the way of the Guards. He was furious and rightly so. He demanded to see the tour guide's badge and number. That put an end to that guide's career.

Great to see so many positive & supportive comments for both the Troops & the police officer. It’s important to know that Horseguards is an actual military establishment that allows tourists to get up close & personal to the guards. The guards are not there for the amusement of the tourists! I also told them the guard's semi-automatic rifle was loaded with live ammunition. They backed off without a word! I should add, most Americans are respectful and polite people.
I`ve seen something similar at the Tower of London. A couple of hillbillies were trying to get a rise out of one of the guards by standing in front of him playing music full whack on their phones. A Beefeater who happened to be a retired Regimental Sergeant Major came charging over like a cruise missile and chewed the balls off them like they were on a parade ground. It was nothing short of hilarious watching them turn white then make for the nearest exit.

What sickens me is, the whole group were from a very expensive, private International Summer School and were under the direct supervision of staff. The Samiad Summer School for International Students, (Google it). Why didn't one of a number of the So-Called Supervising Adults with the group step in and get the lout under control before the Police had to get involved ? No member of staff from that School took the slightest notice of what he was doing until he was pulled away from the area by the Police. It's just a pity the lout wasn't arrested for a Breach of the Peace, or, committing a Public Order offence. That would make Mummy and Daddy very Happy.

@@whattiler5102 Uh, this kind of thing is basically Pandora’s Box, so it’s veeeery abbreviated here. Disney has been pushing some very disturbing agendas on children regarding all this trans stuff, among other stuff. It’s one of the main reasons why the company has been hurting so bad these past few years, alongside the cable dispute and the Indian Cricket stuff. Essentially, Disney’s not really family friendly anymore. In the old days, the movies were all about teaching life lessons to kids, helping them cope with the concept of death, or just being mindless fun. Nowadays though, there’s staff dressing as drag queens at Disneyland, and all their movies (barring Avatar 2) have been flopping hard for years. They’ve barely had any successes.

Tourists can be so disrespectful and need to realize that these guards are not here as props to amuse them. This is not cosplay. These men are here to do a job and need to be left alone. If you can't act like an adult, stay home. This not only effects you but is a reflection on the country you're from.
Finally, an officer deals with it properly and lays down the law instead of standing there trying to debate and reason with the offender.
Having to debate and reason is what the public have whinged and wined for, populists politician's have demanded it and professional standards departments and the iopc have enforced it.
Coming from an blatantly obvious state-funded bot channel, that's quite sinister.

That whole area has been a military installation in one form or other since the 1660s. Why do people think there are also armed police there? It is probably unique in having permitted, to varying degrees and at different times, access onto and through the area, to UK citizens for over 450 years. I fear that right and tradition won't be available to my future grandchildren the way things are going.
