Thanks for the video 👍 One quick question, please: What is this adapter in the middle of windscreen bar that increases the diameter (to fix a smartphone mount etc.?)? I am looking for such and meanwhile I ordered a plastic tube to dyi something like this. Thanks in advance
I've seen several built-in navigation solutions for motorcycles. For someones sake - if offering that, just support Android Auto and Apple Carplay and your're done! On my Tiger 900 GT '23 There now is an additional screen above the stock one with a Chigee AA/AC-enabled device that handles my nav (and a lot more). The arrows do sort of work, but it is a really sparse nav and your phone needs to be on anyway. I think Triumph really missed an opportunity there.
Have you downloaded the Triumph Navigation app? If so, and you still can't connect, it could be your phone as not all are compatible. I don't use the Triumph Navigation because it is outdated technology. Better either using a dedicated Satnav or downloading free off-line maps such as Sygic to your phone and mounting it. See video attached for what I use. Good luck.
The gloves are comfortable and well made. The big selling point is the mobile phone touch screen facility BUT it doesn't work all the time! Would I buy another pair? No 👎
I found out that the My Tiumph App and that Balogna Arrow and always off Dest Time displayed is Pure Poo poo! I rode 700 miles in a day and paid dearly for the slow Recalculating directions and the many roads named that were incorrect. OMG it's pure poop. Just get a Zumo or a Montana 700i with a evotech mount and forget about it. My bike is the 2022 900 RP and well the whole Bluetooth system onit is flawed. Half ass works with Sena etc.
I agree with your comments. I rarely use the Triumph Connectivity system anymore because it's more trouble than it's worth. Expect better from a premium brand.
It's not the best. I don't even use it anymore. I use a free off-line map on my spare phone as a GPS. See video link below. th-cam.com/video/SLXo5358LNY/w-d-xo.html
Sorry, but this is really not the best way to ride with that device! Moreover, It grinds, and costs a lot of GigaBits on your mobile phone. Do go and buy a geniune modern GPS with mounting brackets instead! ❤
I agree that the technology is basic and antiquated. I made the video about 2 years ago after buying the bike to see how it worked. I wouldn't recommend using it for navigation.
@@villaincatcher Thank you for your video and your opinion on this more or less useless feature. Hopefully there will be a smart solution to install our own and best GPS unit! I’ve ordered a 2024 Tiger 900 GT Pro and look forward to find a simple and convenient navigation device to it.
No it does not, dont waste money on gps, when u can use an old phone lying around with google maps offline. This navigation things does not work on most android phones anyways
Thanks for the video, and the children in the car waving is fantastic, the same happens here in Brazil.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
thanks, connectivity and the nav app seem to be the most criticised feature. hoping I get the hang of it. bike due in June
Thanks for the video 👍

You're wearing those gloves the internet keeps advertising at me, I think. Do you like them?

@@villaincatcher haha, thanks. That settles it then.

I think this is terrible, compared with a Tomtom Rider.
I agree 👍
So basically triumph navigation is crap

Yes it’s total crap, as is the app. I don’t bother with it anymore.

I would be interested to hear if Triumph have improved or updated the GPS on the bike.
