So happy I discovered your TH-cam channel, I grew up watching the Huevos videos. My dad introduced me to them when I was around 4 and I grew up watching majority of the parts online. Huevos 6 and 7 were the ones he owned on DVD and which have always stuck with me personally. I had an obsession with them for sure at a point due to my dad owning an Suzuki LTZ400 since the year I was born so they’d get me pumped wanting to go out and ride and they still do. That same Suzuki was passed down to me from my dad and Huevos inspired me to put time and my money into it and 20 years later still kicking ass and keeping the quad scene relevant individually. Thanks Wes!
I'm sure you wouldn't remember, but I was inspired by your movies to go racing here on the East coast. I emailed you many years ago as a kid, I have no idea where I found your email address. But to my utter amazement, you emailed me back. It meant the world to me because I genuinely thought you were the coolest guys on the planet. Huevos Grandes for life!
The good Ol days in 4-wheeler suspension. RPM, laeger's, Lonestar racing, Duncan, CT Racing and a few others that I'm drawing a blank on while Ohlins was getting into ATV suspension when PEP was the dominating suspension company speaks volumes to the popularity these bikes had back then. The Hondas back in the day set the bar very high back then
Yessss! This takes me way back, I was a kid racing gnc nationals at this time and watched Huevos 10x's a day. Around 01-02 you randomly showed up to a track in West Monroe Louisiana on the way to the airport and me and a few buddies were the only ones out practicing and my friend overjumped a big step down and I remember you wanting to grab your camera but you had to catch a flight! More of this please! Thanks for sharing.
dude im in louisiana and grew up watching these also . i started in 01 on a 250r my dad got from Byrd . i racing in the lacc and my buddy has a training compound . if you still ride hit us up
@@WesMiller70 My head would explode if you had any behind the scenes stuff from the factory team national days like 2008-2010 when it was a wild scene.
Good to see your channel on YT , I remember buying your Huevos Grandes on VHS tapes back in the day, ( 20 yrs ago ) I still have them in a box somewhere around the house. I still have my 250R to.
What a nostalgia trip to see all this behind the scenes footage from a great era. I enjoy all the insight you give to the footage as well. As a fan from H1, thank you for taking the time to do this.
Fuggin RAD!!! You can FOR SURE hear the 125 in the background towards the end on the MF'in PIN!! 🤣 Please keep pumping these vids out man!! Thank you!!
So awesome Wes! , I got to race Kory , Jeremy and Johnny Hale their in 2000,(well get smoked by them) that double in the middle ended up being called VP Leap. We had practice one session and most of the guys didn’t hit, so someone convinced them to let us go out for like another lap just to jump it, myself, Nick Nelson, I believe Gerrick Lastra and a few others went out and hit it. Thanks for the blast from the past🙏

Some behind the scene Jimmy Elza footage would be cool, he seemed so talented and then he was just gone. So nice to see, i was just a teen following atv racing back then with magazines and videos. I started with the 400ex days and never rode the 2strokes. Kind of crazy to see quads and bikes together in practice. This happened in the 2000's but now just being allowed at a track is something rare.
Hey Wes, don't know if you remember me, but I raced with you a few times in the Mickey's back in 88' & 89'. (Todd David #44 Suz.) Yeah, Jim Putman made an awesome chassis. His 1st one was for Derrek Hamilton on the Suz LT 250. That thing had sooo much travel and squatted down low for the turns. He based his design off the trophy trucks, how they would sit so low and when they went off a jump, the suspension would unload and compression dampening would soak up the landings.
Yeah, I remember you for sure. I know Jim did some stuff for awhile. A lot of people on here might not realize that Jim Putman was one of the original factory Suzuki quad riders.

I did enjoy watching Huevos videos, The top of their quad riders are gnarly. I raced Perris in the. late the '90s and early to mid-2000s. I don't race anymore I just freeride or watch my kids jump. They are big into the FMX so my ranch property is littered with ramps, airbags, foam pits, and a pitbike track. lol.
