Lovely hoya collection! 🪴 my favorite plants to collect.
You can cut the dried tendril from the Callistophyla. It will push a new growth somewhere else. Sometimes when we touch a lot the new tendrils they die.

Oh thanks for the info! I wasn’t sure if it’d grow back or what!

@@michaeljohnhalse It won't grow back. Just cut it off. It will sprout from another spot :)

Your collection is beautiful. How lovely that you have a Hoya from your grandmother!! I use orchid spray on mine as well, though not as often. But, seeing the size of your leaves, maybe I should, lol.

I’ll admit I’ve been bad with keeping up with the orchid spraying this winter. With the heat coming off of the furnace and my watering schedule all out of whack I always forget to spray them, haha. TOO MANY THINGS NOT ENOUGH TIME. haha

I totally get not really liking “messy” plants. 😂. This is my first time seeing one of your videos. I like your demeanor , I’ll be subscribing and binge watching 🤣

Haha thanks! Glad you liked it! I’ve been taking some time off lately, been launching a board game, but looking forward to getting back into videos!

Very nicely cared for plants. You mentioned Lowe's for purchasing plants, what other nurseries do you find them at? I also am curious where you get your hanging pots, I like them a lot. Thanks

Well I’m not sure where you live, but in the area of Ontario I live I get most of my hoyas from this nursery called Vandermeer, or there’s another one called Valley View a bit further away. Lowe’s and Home Depot also have hoyas, but it’s very infrequent, and you’ve got to get them fast before they’re snatched up.
As for the hanging pots, the two big ones, that my hoya carnosa and krimson queen are in are from Michael’s craft store, the two hanging below them were from Amazon, and the rest I believe were from HomeSense/Marshall’s, places like that.

I really tried to become a Joya collector but they just don't like me and they grow so damn slow!!! ❤️💔❤️

Oh yeah, I hear you on the slow growth. I wish everything grew at like pothos speed. lol

They grow fast if you live in an area with high humidity. Average humidity here is between 60 and 70 and my hoyas go nuts. They grew well during the winter, but now that the sun is shining longer and they are getting more light, they really took off. I have around 11 different varieties and all of them are doing splendidly, pushing out new leaves all the time.

@@walle5667 😱😱 I wish! my average humidity here all winter has been 20%. even I’ve hated it. lol
