I was raised in northern NJ. I had homers and flights and a few street pigeons and fantails. But, within 5-6 miles circle of my house? Homing pigeons, Tipplers, Pigmy Pouters. Everyone had pigeons. I'm 62 now and probably started out when I was 15 with street pigeons we caught from under bridges and the parking garage at the Willow Brook Mall in Wayne, NJ. Just went on from there. Off and on throughout the years. I live a half hour from Lancaster PA and belong to the Reading Club. Crazy world!
The very best pigeon show video I have seen, thanks so much. I left the hobby fifty years ago always wanted to return back to it but with the hawks an falcons down here in Puerto Rico my dreams of flying were canned. At least I can enjoy the hobby through your channel. Thx again.
Been watching you from the beginning great job your doing.Keep up the good work.I LOVE ROLLERS just don't have place to have them. I'm kinda like you ,i don't have a place to keep them & hoping i will some day.
Thank you very much! What is your living situation? Once I move I plan on building a small kitbox to hold birds. Size will depend on my yard if I have one otherwise porch/balcony. You can definitely make a 3x3 single kitbox and hold a dozen of rollers. I hope that helps. Also in the future I hope to capture some Birmingham Roller content! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me on FB or IG at NE_PIGEONS
I've been on the hunt for nearby pigeon communities, and I'm so sad I missed this! Good to know this exists for next year at least. Thank you for sharing.
@@NE_Pigeons I'm located in South New Jersey. Mostly wanted to check things out and get more first hand info on pigeons and pigeon keeping from more experienced minds. Online reading can only get someone so far.
Another great video. They keep getting better and better. By the way at 14:28 those are Danish Suabians. They're very rare and have been on my wishlist for a long time.
Keep an eye out on my community tab here on TH-cam and checkout my Facebook and Instagram at NE_Pigeons. I try to post the events as soon as I’m aware of them. Many of the swap and sells and auctions are spontaneous.
This show is coming up again!! The 2nd week of January. You can search Google for the Reading National Pigeon Association Show for 2025 in Lancaster, PA.
Hi sir! My name is Andrew from Texas. I came across your videos a few days ago. I am interested in purchasing a few pigeons from a man named Bill from Florida whom you interviewed in PA. Can you please tell me how I can get in touch with him.
Hello am looking for a help . Am new in maryland. Ferm germany been doing raching pigeon over the last 11 year in Europe. But now I move to The US . Am looking for a club that I can join as a member. So that I can race again. Thanks you
Thanks for the tip will keep that in mind for the next one! So many birds at this show it was overwhelming. If you aren't too far stop by the 2024 show coming up! You can find the details in my community tab. It's the BEST pigeon show in the Northeast!
Don't waste your money and time on ornamental and untalented birds. What you need is talent; Turkish tumblers, Turkish spinner butterflies and Turkish spinners who spin like a top in the air. Try it, you won't regret it.
Just wanted to give a shoutout to ABC Lofts, Phil Backyard Budapest and everyone else the stopped to say hi 👋.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching the video.
Thank you 🕊️
Thank you for taping the show. Enjoy seeing all the breeds
Still editing the 2024 show! Stay tuned 🕊️

Give me a few months. I'll be doing a loft tour with Richie Ballin one day. He is known for his flying flights!

Hello. I’m not sure of any racing clubs in Maryland. I would search on Facebook and Google for the closest combine. Good luck 🕊️🕊️🕊️
if you could stop swinging the camera so much, we could see a bit more and a bit better. But thanks for the video. I didn't know such a place existed.

I love performing breeds myself. Excellent list of birds you are recommending. I’ll have to explore them more. Thanks for sharing 🙏 🕊️
