You can probably achieve this effect with both VDMX and Resolume. Although, Resolume might require this effect to be created from scratch using their Wire for Resolume software. So, I would recommend you to use VDMX to create this effect indeed, as this software has many advanced built-in effect.
Quick question! I'm trying to add visuals to our shows mainly music videos while we play the song in the video with my band, do you know If this videos can be triggered via MIDI by the sequence software? we are currently using SONAR for all our sequences and distortion changes with our midi pedalboards but we are looking for a software that can co-work or sync with sonar to be able to trigger the video of the song we are playing without having to have someone pushing the button... do you know which software could do this? thanks a ton new sub here! great videos! thx again and hi from Utah
Hi, thanks for reaching out all the way from Utah! My best bet would be to use the default Video Player VST in your DAW (Sonar) for that. You can launch your videos using the MIDI triggers coming from your pedalboard. If your DAW doesn't include a Video Player VST by default, the VidPlayVST is a good one.
Can either of them do massive trails/frame blurring like on vlc player when you crank the motion blur slider?
