started buying scag mowers in 2003. currently own 6 different models. sold the 72" sabre tooth tiger because of diesel engine issues. 6 i have now are 36" to 61". hove owned or demoed most other brands, but always came back to scag.
We have 4 Scag V-ride 2. all over 1k hours and not 1 of his problems, not 1. 48",48", 52" & 36" Dang he just has bad luck. I was actually on the fence about getting my 1st Wright till he said the v-ride didn't rut the lawn as bad as the Wright. Wow I'm sorry.

I have owned them all, scag makes a great machine and so does wright. I found my sweet spot to be John Deere. Zero issues other than blades, belts, and oil changes. Fixing to order a new Q810E 36". I do wish the pad was as comfortable as the scag. I hate to hear you had so many issues. Like the video, cheers!
@@roachbrotherslawncare2936yeah they are like nothing else they have pros and cons. I own a bad boy avenger. Once I pay it off imma sell it and get a full commercial unit to go along with my stand on unit.
Awesome review! Honest and to the point. My buddy let me borrow his and it was night and day compared to my residential 48” 2006 husqvarna. This is my 3rd year (2nd full season) and im ready to upgrade. I wish scag made an orange one not the mustard color but it still looks great. Its just that i like husqvarna orange.
Hey man, great video! I keep hearing that Scag is great and all but from a few people now that your time at the dealer is going to be frequent. I'm looking at the Wright Stander X 48 as a better machine, any thoughts?
Don’t get me wrong man. Definitely a great cutting machine. We still put about 5 hours a week on it during commercial mowing day. But yeah won’t be getting another 😓
All the issues mentioned are so simple. Belts and ground wire issues could be resolved in minutes... Park brake issue is a little ridiculous but c'mon 5/10 rating?
you got unlucky with the machine. Haven't had to do a thing besides yearly maintenance. I used walker/ferris for years, and now i'm running x-mark and scag

That’s interesting. Maybe we will give scag another shot

I have been looking at Scag for a while now and close to buying one!!!! Good video!
Yeah man. Everyone has their opinion but personally we had too much down time with ours

Really wish we could try a John Deere. Such a classic mower. When I think of John Deere I think of America 🇺🇸
I ordered a 48 inch bad boy stand. That’s the same one I wanted maybe they have fixed it now.
@@985live I heard the bad boy mowers are good

Maybe In the future we will be able to customize the mower colors. I definitely think it will be an option at some point 🤣
Great video thank you for making it!
No problem man!

@@48MSAM-zk4le I’m all about the Wrights Brother. Check out my videos. Just bought a stander I and we have 3 Stander X 48s
They are excellent.
Looks like there was a reason why it was on sale 😅. Im looking to get one. Thanks for the video!

you will LOVE the scag Xls.
I'm looking at Bobcat standers
Those look super nice
nice video man
Thanks man!
I have a 36 v ride with 400 hours gone threw one belt make sure your putting the belt on correctly 😂 bought it brand new
I always check everything you would think the dealers would check over most things right when these mowers come in
What do you think of the Wright Z?
Never used one but they look awesome
Couple of my decks weren't level either. I'm forgiving when they stripe so nice
They do stripe and bag pretty good!
I just purchase scag 32. How can you tell from user error to wear and tear.
@@TrentonWilliams34250603 pay attention to everything. Really look over the machine every morning and every time your done for the day
not to bad of a mower
Not bad at all. Built tough. Stripes great. We just had too much down time with ours.

@@2147B lol. Yes they are!
Remember, all lawnmowers trucks they all have their lemons
Absolutely. This machine is built tough. Stripes great but definitely has given us issues
Now you see why it was a few thousand cheaper 😂
@@yamyum4129 ohhh yes that’s why 😂😂
Maybe that’s why you got it for cheaper
Dude stop crying 😢 you got a faulty machine. Scag could care less
