    Another tip, supermarkets usually mark down their products later in the day. Try to find out when your local supermarket (or bakery) marks down their products. You may have to hang around waiting for them to come out and mark things down, but you can save money if you can pick up some marked down meat. Bakeries can't keep bread and baked products until the next day, so they will often reduce the prices (or even give things away) at the end of the day.

      So when is the proper time that I can come and search for these food 8pm or more later thx.

    • @dizzylizzy7582
      @dizzylizzy7582 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomwilon882 it depends on the supermarket. I haven't had to do this for a long time, but I used to find being there later in the day was best. You could ask one of the employees. They can only say they can't share that info. Be aware, there can be a few people hanging around waiting for markdowns. I'd try around 4-6pm. Later in the day, but still time for things to sell.

    Aldi is very common in the western suburbs of Sydney, sometimes only 6-7 km apart from each other. You can even find Aldi in Wollongong and Nowra,all the way up North in Ballina, and as far west as Dubbo, being the No3 supermarket in Australia, i personally think it has great coverage, whith most regional cities/ towns at least having one Aldi.

      Thank you :) I didn't put a specific link because it varies from state to state! I'd suggest Googling: "student concession public transport victoria" (or whichever State you live in. e.g. 'western australia' 'new south wales' etc.). Most (if not all) states have student concessions. Hope this helps

    Hello Martina, we love your videos!! We are a family parents + 2 teenagers from Spain travelling to Australia in Christmas🎄 for 3 weeks, initially we thought to visit Sydney Melbourne and Tasmania, do you think is a good choice of itinerary? How many days will advise to give to each stop? Thanks for your kind help, cheers

    • @livingsimplyaustralia
      @livingsimplyaustralia  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Thanks for your comment :) The three cities are very different but so beautiful, so good choice! It's definitely doable visiting the major parts of these three cities in 3 weeks but you'll be a bit tight for time. I'd suggest spending 7 days in Sydney (see Opera House, Bondi beach, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Blue Mountains, take the Ferry to Watsons bay and Manly, cycle along the harbour bridge, Northern beaches). 4-5 days in Hobart (I recommend doing day tours to get the most of out of those days - Mona (a must), Mt wellington, Freycenet, Port Arthur, Brunny island). And Melbourne 4-5 days (I recommend walking around the city and getting lost in the laneways, visit suburbs like fitzroy, NGV and ACME, brighton beach, take a day tour to great ocean road and another wine tour in the yarra valley, or one to Philip island, visit national parks such as wilsons prom or grampians). So many things to do! (sydney more water + beach), melbourne (more city life), tasmania (more nature). Hope this helps :)
