I love Paul, but when he talks about the Jaguar logo and says, "...the one with the tiger--" 😂! Paul, it's not a tiger, it's a *jaguar* in the classic logo. The hint is in the company's name, Paul.
He does have a tendency to try to sound authoritative when he doesn't know what he's talking about. Same as when they talked about Once Upon a Time - it was not a musical, it was basically a fairy tale series with the tone of Lost.
31:20 I'm sorry, Paul, but Script is right-Gal Gadot has a face for Wonder Woman (...maybe!), but *_not_* the body, at least not to anyone who knows her classic figure from the comic books.
Also, someone whom looks like Famke Janson looked circa 2002 would've been an improvement, merely on the body type, even a modern version of Musetta Vander
@@HungryForTastyFoodAndComicArt Yeah, Famke Janssen [sic], IPA: [ˈfɑmkə ˈjɑnsə(n)], would have _nailed_ it around 1993 to 2003 ✌️. She can pull of the steely gaze effortlessly.
Paul's dementia appears to be kicking in, Once Upon a Time was not a musical every week. If I had to guess I'd say he was thinking of Galivant. Also, I can totally understand why Gen X marketing managers would find Paul's humor cringe.
I always thought that the Nexus was a kind of simulacrum and that a person in the Nexus can only "go to any point in space and time" upon leaving the Nexus. So if Kirk is in heaven, that's not very science fiction and if he's in the Nexus, it's not really all that poignant because he's just meeting facsimiles of real people.
49:32 ~ "Minimalisticness" is not a word, Tom. You went full Oswald Bates again, half-a$$ing the scrabble-words. The adjective is "minimalist". Or, you could say "The minimalistic nature of the new logo examples." But "Minimalisticness" does not exist.
For some reason I thought The Batman came out in 2020. I was going to make a joke about how it came out in the previous election and The Penguin came out on the recent election, maybe we'll get The Batman II the next election. But no, The Batman came out 2022.
It doesn't even need to be a parody. Snow White is in the public domain (which is why Disney made their cartoon version long ago). Just, don't use any elements that Disney specifically created for their version.

As one former commentator stated “ I’m rooting for the poison apple”🍏

You mean a Jaaaaaaaag.

If I were the prince I would try to win the heart of the queen. Just sayin'... She is a goddess! Clearly her mirror must be drunk.

Heck, Sofia Vergara had a better body for WW from the comics! (Bear in mind I prefer WW from 1968 to 1984...)
Also, someone whom looks like Famke Janson looked circa 2002 would've been an improvement, merely on the body type, even a modern version of Musetta Vander

Stop listing names that make me horny!
It`s Jansen btw, not Janson..
As an Amazon warrior I always expected Wonder Woman to have a physique like a modern day WWE female wrestler. Muscular but not body builder jacked.
Regarding Tim Curry always being great, Tom is correct (even in Congo! And that garbaggio film "Legend").
I like Tom
I like turtles
I don't like The Batman 😂
I saw the Snow White trailer on a Disney friendly shill page and, surprise surprise, the comment section was disabled.
Of course it was, even the shills knows it`s crap lol
Doesn’t surprise me, Reeves is a farce of a director that just got lucky he’s right up there with JJ and Fede imo.
1:03:07 Just like the artsy fartsy commercial for Mr. Plow when Plow King was taking away Homer’s business.
Paul's dementia appears to be kicking in, Once Upon a Time was not a musical every week.

Shame on Disney for wasting almost 300 million on this sh*t, they could make an unproduced Hitchcock script for less than a million.
1:45:10 *The Critical Drinker* released a video called *"The Drinker Fixes... Game of Thrones"* on 10 May 2021. Worth remembering.
How to retcon JJ Trek and Discover: It all happened in the Nexus. Picard and Kirk come out of the Nexus and go "Whoa. Let's avoid that future".
It bothers me that Chato says "volksvaagen" instead of "folksvaagen".
I always thought that the Nexus was a kind of simulacrum and that a person in the Nexus can only "go to any point in space and time" upon leaving the Nexus. You guys are wrong about the Volvo commercial. It was pretty well done.
I remember the Simpsons Plow King commercial:
Dad, was that your commercial?
I don't know.
The penguin was pitched to matt reeves and he approved. He was involved with it.
Hail @Midnight'sEdge!

Someone's going to come out with an adult Snow White parody that will be better than the fake Disney one.

Gal gadot actually looks fantastic and seem to act the part well. you guys are just hating for nothing. as for zegler, you all spot on .
Gee I can't wait for the next episode of Tom won't ever shut up.
