Wow, for Pro/Prosumer video kit like this, with HDSDI, it's cheap as chips. Not exactly versed in the industry, but have some limited exposure. I was expecting a 4 or 5 figure price point. Pretty amazing.
Keenan Tims I'm trying to transition my video workflow to HD SDI completely. Bought an ATEM Television Studio switcher with integrated chroma and logo keyer, multiview and program out. Just under $ 1K. Things are really getting affordable for the home user.
Chip Guy Vids +1 for a tear down :) Plus, you could mod the LEDs to have better optical separation (e.g. heat shrinking the LED's heads comes into mind)
Chip Guy Vids I thought I'd have to say no because it looked like the case wouldn't open easily. But it appears that the screws were hidden very well under the rubber bottom. So... stay tuned :)
When I was looking into it it had not so great reviews. I forgot what was a problem but made me go with atomos.
How much does it cost, where do I buy one, how much are these solid-state memory drives ?
