This was simply brilliant. You do such a good job of turning my childhood into a modern day comedy. This episode more than any showed your true talent ma friend!!!
ET was my favorite game! Smurfs too. Oh and Swordquest Earthworld and River Raid. As you can see, bought most our video games in the Hill's bargain Bin.
Definitely my favorite episode to date.....and that is saying something! Sadly I owned the old school "woody" looking 2600 and BOTH of those games. ET was just sad but funny to look back on now. The Adventure was big back in the day.....even though the dragons looked like sickly ducks ;) Thanks for all the nostalgia on this one and I look forward to the Bucs playoff episode!
Pittsburgh dad is always damn funny. Was everyone`s dad like this? I remember by the time I reached about the age of 16 it was very hard to keep a straight face when my dad was pissed off. The older you get the funnier and more silly dad`s become.
Hey Pittsburgh Dad I love the modern games but you're right none of it would be possible if it wasn't for the Atari I started playing games with the Atari back in like 1990 then came the Nintendo and I've been hooked ever since but I will admit the Atari was fun Nintendo was funner but the games now I practically get lost in them basically what I'm trying to say is I get your joke that's pretty funny keep the videos coming
Your Steelers vs Saints video came up in my recommendations. I'm guessing because I am a Saints fan and follow all their channels. I have been binge watching these videos ever since and laughing the whole way. Subscribed great job lots of people say this is good enough for TV and I agree. Well it's 2am goodnight and thanks for all the laughs.
This was funny, but honestly I'm STILL snickering over the Fridge episode. It really hit home - reminded me of my dad freaking out over the length of the showers I took, and how much I talked on the phone. It's a good thing I didn't have to pay the bills back then, as he said. ;) Anyhow, thanks for always being the bright spot on my Tuesdays!
Awesome! Is love to see a second channel where Dad does nothing but play old video games ! I was laughingso hard! And the retro 8- bit opening credits were amazing!
I loved this video!! We had atari and my dad would play once in a while and he called it Aterry LOL. It was a blast back then. oh the good ole days! asteroids was the best!
Lol, "does this take place in Ray Lewis' house?" I'm dead!!!
we need an update 4 that😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂

4 years later, this is still one of your best episodes. LOL!!!!!
"Game systems back then were like furniture. I think there's even a liquor cabinet built into it".
Oh god, the E.T. video game
ET was my favorite game! Smurfs too. Oh and Swordquest Earthworld and River Raid. As you can see, bought most our video games in the Hill's bargain Bin.
Oh man I f-ing love this one. You guys have been getting so creative with your episodes!
"You gotta throw that dead ET up on da hilL!"
The amount of dead critters we had to chuck UP or DAHN na hill oher dere in my childhood (1970's suburban Picksberg "nat) is...disturbing. LOL.
ROTFLMFAO!! Definitely my favorite Pittsburgh Dad episode... I remember playing E.T. and thinking the same things. ^_^
I had that game too.

I havent lived in pittsburgh for 4 years, just found this channel. This is awesome. Subbing
Why'd ya shut it off? ADVENTURE ROCKS!
The 2600 he shows here is a REAL 1st edition. It has the 6 dip switches and the orange trimming. Awesome.
$125 in 1982 ~ $375 in today’s money.
"Put in that 'Adventure.' Now wait until you see the graphics on this one!"
LOL. That's taking it WAY back...
Another epic edition of Pittsburghdad! The highlight of my day!
"Is that DJ from Roseanne?" XD
E.T ya gotta get away from Dick Tracey
I laughed so hard by myself..
Don't worry, it's not gone for good. Some episodes just seem a better fit without it.

ONE OF YOUR BEST YET!
Favorite video so far Pittsburgh Dad! You have to be from Western Pa to get some of the humor.
LOL I can recall my younger brother crying about getting stuck in the pit! This video sure brought back some memories for me ☺
I always go to Rib-Fest at South Park Too! Too Expensive though. XD
What sort of adapter were they using to connect an Xbox or a PS to that old television set?
Great as always dad. I loved that game I was born in 1974
Where's this game take place Ray Lewis house. Haha. Hysterical.
Best webisode ever!! You gain 1,000,000 points for showing Adventure! Those seahorses are a pain LOL
Oh how I remember Adventure. I think that was my favorite at the time. I liked the Pittsburg Dad Atari style intro too. THAT was cool!
Hilarious! Love it and I'm a Pittsburgh fan as well
My Dad saw me the play the new Tomb Raider game on my new Xbox 360 and was astonished about how all the characters looked almost like real live people
"........water heaters...." made me spit Pepsi at the screen.😜
AWESOME EPISODE!
Magic Eye Painting... Dick Tracy... HILARIOUS!

An all time great right here. I laughed the whole time.
I loved this video!! We had atari and my dad would play once in a while and he called it Aterry LOL.
It was a blast back then. oh the good ole days!
asteroids was the best!
I like Adventure! Great episode as always!
There's one button! Laughed so hard with my young son. I was terrible with just one! You don't even want to give me 6 or 7!
Able To Watch Netflix on an Atari2600?... Sounds Like a Good Idea!*
If Someone Experience Enough Can Modify One of These Systems To Do That.
"I ain't switching to your plan I'm locked in for mine for 12 years" fucking dead man xD
I gotta dig up OREGON TRAIL. Even though Markie Post has passed away, too.
Dj from Roseanne. Awesome line
Ahh.. Playing Atari on an old console TV. Classic!!
Waldo or DJ from 'Roseanne!' Hahahaha! I miss my Atari AND Coleco!
the lone survivor from the desert
Awesome episode! Did you forget the laugh track or was that on purpose?
Hahahahahaha crack up episode XD. I would be in favor of more video game episodes
LOL. Love it. You rock man.
We need a download for that chiptune intro
Hopefully in the next couple weeks. The Pirates Playoffs episode at least made mention! haha

Never seen this guy but he's actually pretty funny!
And then the angry video game nerd came out and smashed the TV.
This was great! :D
70's Jimmy Durante ESCO statue...I still have Groucho Marx, W.C. Fields and Stanley Laurel
Please do a Rubber Duck episode. It's just too good of a set piece!
Pittsburgh Dad should come visit the giant yellow duck.
That was an AWESOME episode!!!! I'd play any game on Atari than Grand Theft Auto!
lmbo! This was sooo funny! "Hit another button... There's only one button!"
The laugh track would've been perfect for this
DJ form Roseanne? God I love this video. hahahaha
I prefer the laugh track. I like the feeling of laughing along with other people. Video's great either way, though.
This should be Pittsburgh dad impression of AVGN
Please do more games!
For those who don't know, "E.T." was the game that was so bad that Atari buried hundreds of unsold cartridges in the desert.
PLEASE GOD MORE PBGH DAD CLASSIC GAMEPLAY GOD
Lol great episode!!!
You have an Atari that works, so jealous.
I loved the E.T. Game 🎮
Any chance of a Pittsburgh Duck episode?
No it's a independent gaming company that only recently went out of business.
You should do an episode of Pittsburgh Dad of Family Photo Day. Thumbs up so they see it
I thought your next vid would be about the Buccos clinching a playoff spot.
I still have atari & the games. Sadly it doesnt work anymore :(
I like the old school flare
That would be so great! The Duck would not know what hit him!
E.T. for the Atari I'm not sure if the creators even know what's going on in that game.
the 2600 was a great system
You forgot the constant swearing
Dude you got yourself a subscriber! xD
"Is it made of wood?!" - LOL
