Jason, you did a great job with this video presentation. The Ram Tail Factory was at the site by the river where the wheel pit is located. I have spent some time researching this story and a member of the Tucker family confirmed the site for me.
There is an abandoned place in Groton MA called Bancroft Castle that some think is haunted. There are also the remains of an early 1800s pest house across the street from me in Acton MA that the historical society thinks is haunted.
@@ethanfleming4624 I wrote about the Groton Inn in my book "Ghosthunting Southern New England." It was said to be very haunted by the folks I interviewed. Sadly, it burnt down right at the same time my book was being printed. I did not know of the two places that you mentioned, thanks for the info!
Thompson chemical now teknor apex in Attleboro blew up in 1964. 5? men died in the explosion. My Dad worked at the rebuilt factory in the early 80s and saw what he described as a man wearing boiler suit holding a oil can. Only weird thing by the 1980s no one wore boiler suits at that factory anymore. All his coworkers hated each other and constantly argued but the one thing they agreed on was the place was haunted.
If you had a 4 wheeler I could show you a whole abandoned town in the woods in Thompson Connecticut. Bearly anyone knows it's there all huts are fully intact. Including the jail and insane asylum
This guy's good! While it's primarily about a haunted site, his sense of history and ability to deliver that knowledge far exceeds that of other TH-camrs. I am just about to explore Jason's library, but I hope to see many history tours by him in the future.
Foundations & legendary myths where once there was prosperity & optimism. An ode to the impermanence of humanity & its works. “How short life, how long eternity” indeed!
Excellent, This was a well done mini documentary superbly narrated. I did hear of Ramtail ghost but not in detail as you explained in the video. - Great Job
I LOVE abandoned places, and I live on the border of CT and RI...HOOOOOW has it taken me this long to find your videos?! I've lost half my day by watching your videos, lol. Amazing imagery and I love that you give us the history as well. Great stuff...thank you!
Awesome content man! I just started filming abandoned places myself and I love watching other peoples content to see how I can better my stuff! This video seriously is awesome! love how you talk about the history of everything. Keep up the good work.
Very professionally done! I truly appreciate the time you put into this short film. I have deep roots with this spot of land. With many family members buried in the nearby cemetery and I used to swim in the river as a child.
I live in foster. Years ago, my friend told me he once saw a pair of yellow eyes in the dark of the woods one night from his window. I didn’t think much of it, but now this all makes senses
Yes I read a book bye Avicci called Something Upstairs, which also took place in RI. Pretty haunted here there’s lots of weird things. I live next to a graveyard too…. Anyways I’m Rhode Island there are lots of those weird rock wall ruins. There everywhere..
Good question - Olneyville was named after Christopher Olney who was a captain during the Revolutionary War and owned a 95-acre farm in the area back in the late 1700s
Great story and drone work. I live close to RI and never heard of this ghost story. Looks like a Beautiful location. Wonder if you can metal detect there? Other great video well done. 🐆
First, straight off the bat, your video's are Rock Star!! I was out there last week searching for the remains but I couldn't find them. I came to the trail that was cut off by the river and didn't really know what to do from there except turn back. I'm visiting from Florida and I was hoping to find it while here. I didn't see that dirt road @ 7:52 minutes into the video. How did you access it? Thanks again for these amazing vids!
HI!!!! So I live in RI and I was on the boat with my dad, we went by the oil docks and stuff. There is a concrete thing that just sits there. Can you find out what it is.
It would be totally cool if you could do a video story of Sin and Flesh Brook in Tiverton. I grew up in Tiverton but I never fully understood the story behind it.
Bruh you cut out the part where you trespassed! You didn't double back around man, you got in ya car and drove to Central pike on the other side lol then went down the trail that says "no trespassing" but Great vid ! Tho lmaoo I went yesterday 🤣
I was so damn confused when he said he owned a Lambo I was like whaaaat I thought first brand vehicle was ford (not even sure if I'm right about that) but all so I don't think there were cars back then. My stoner side was really shining through cus I was heavily overthinking this Lambo 😅
They say to see a "haunting" you have to be open to that kind of stuff. And even some who are open most likely don't see anything either. Odd how that goes! :)
Ponagansett is pronounced "powna-gansett - long "O" sound. Olney is pronounced "Oh-nee." I'm probably related to these people through the Olneys. I'm a little surprised that someone from RI doesn't know this. Cool video, though, I'd never heard about that (I'm from Coventry.)
I’m wondering the same thing. Similarly why did he use computer generated generic footage of a crowd on his video about the Old Pawtucket terminal and explicitly state it to be “actual footage from 1945”
What other places do you think could be officially listed as haunted? Also, where is Peleg's lambo now 🤔

Nice statements, thanks!
My father has lived in Burrillville for 30 years so I’ve heard of this location before. Another brilliant upload, Jason! Well done 👍

I am really enjoying your videos! Thanks for all the insight into RI.
Very professionally done! I truly appreciate the time you put into this short film. I have deep roots with this spot of land. With many family members buried in the nearby cemetery and I used to swim in the river as a child.
Jason, this was fantastic! Many thanks….you are the best! You are also very brave for venturing out there by yourself.
Thanks Frank! You can call me brave when I go there at midnight 😁

My 5th grade social studies teacher was related to William Potter and I still remember him telling us this story!
Another great video awesome job Jason
Love these videos. Between the editing and narration, they sort of feel like if Johnny Harris was doing local-interest pieces.
Holy crap. Keep up with the awesome run down about historic places in RI, especially the spooky ones. Very cool channel.
Thanks for posting this bit of history and haunting!
My great great grandmothers maiden name was Allard from Pawtucket RI. We very well could be family.

Great video! Just curious, does Potters son Olney have any connection to Olneyville in Providence?
Good question - Olneyville was named after Christopher Olney who was a captain during the Revolutionary War and owned a 95-acre farm in the area back in the late 1700s
Love it, Jason. I think I'd like to hike around here this summer. Maybe I'll have better luck with the ghost in the Lamborghini. xo
Grew up there and love this story!
I grew up there and I have gone ghost hunting there more than once and I can assure you that you will see and hear things that can't be explained.
Great story and drone work. I live close to RI and never heard of this ghost story. Looks like a Beautiful location. Wonder if you can metal detect there? Other great video well done. 🐆
Use to go swimming at Ram Tail RD. Wonder if the reservoir affected the area.
Thanks man!
Very interesting video, thank you for exploring and sharing the history. Not a native RI'er, so really enjoy leanring about my adopted state
love your videos
I think we went to a cemetery an there was woods that lead to a "bridge" like that we couldn't cross

Been to that exact spot dozens of times to fish the reservoir that the Ponagansett river flows into
well done video!
Jason, what is the model of the drone you use?
DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo

There was a pbs documentary on this. I live on the Rhode island boarder and want to do a night at this place and see if it's for real.....
My back yard as a kid . We lived there from 1950 to 1986 and we never seen a ghost. Maybe we scared them off😂
Way cool thank you

Who are those photos of? Peleg Walker died in 1822 before photography was invented

Peleg died in 1822, but the oldest photo in the world is from 1826. Why are you ruining your credibility with pictures of random guys?
Lmao you know Peleg didn’t actually own a lambo too right?
I’m wondering the same thing. Similarly why did he use computer generated generic footage of a crowd on his video about the Old Pawtucket terminal and explicitly state it to be “actual footage from 1945”
Lmao I've been there so many times and camped there. Hate to tell you there is no such thing as a haunted anything
HOW DID U GET THERE WHERE IS IT IN THE TRAIL IM GOING THIS WEEKND OR AS SOON AS I HEAR FROM YOU
