    Wow Calli it must be so exciting and heartfelt to watch a family sit down with your game, learn it from your story book and have fun together. I think modern board games, even learning games for younger audiences can help bring the family unit together. Great job! Thanks for sharing. I feel you have so much more to offer in the future, learning yourself in the process.

    i agree, calli. in my opinion you could argue rules are the #1 barrier to growing the hobby.

      @@calliwright564 i always use videos to learn how to play games, but even that takes some effort. i feel like modern rule books and rules videos make it much easier for folks to learn games now. and while there are surely still more improvements to be made in that area, i feel if people knew how accessible game rules were now, and if they had great gaming experiences, then they may prioritize seeking out and learning more games for themselves. certainly gaming has exploded in popularity but there so many families and groups out there that still just don't know what they're missing.
