Agreed. I haven't even really gotten past the creepers yet and I can already tell I wont like most of the redesigns or newdesigns he's implementing. Its no offense to this guy, just my personal taste and opinion really. In my opinion when you look at the different stages of evolution you can usually see how an animal or creature got to how it looks, but with the creeper...? Not really. The baby creeper looks like some kind of weird caterpillar while the other forms look like an bug you'd see from Helldivers or Star Ship Troopers, and a magic-infused tree monster. Not only do they lack the colors and design patterns of the creepers but there is no way in my mind that you could tell me that a creeper in 500 years would evolve into that. Anyway that's my opinion and yapperfest done and over with.

To give criticism about this video, the "Most Minecraft mobs are boring" part is wrong. Each mob has something different to make them stand out from each other, like how Creepers are sneaky, and are the only mobs that explode, or how Endermen are tall, and can teleport. That's what makes them unique while keeping things simple. Know the differences between "Boring" and "Simple" next time. And making them overdesigned or overpowerd, etc, it doesn't mean it makes them better.

man. this sucks. dont get me wrong, the concept of this video is alright; making minecraft mobs have different stages of life. a lot of the mobs just lose their main design elements, such as the creeper being sneaky; so heres some criticism and some improvements (in my eyes, anyway) baby creeper: baby creeper is good. maybe make it a different colour? notch said a creeper would feel like dry, crunchy leaves, so making the creeper a brighter, maybe yellower too could mimic a young plant? evolved creeper: looks to be somewhat inspired by the mutant creeper from the old mutant creatures mod. instead of making the creeper bigger, try making its lower torso wider to accomodate for a larger tnt block which are in all creepers. maybe also have its eyes blue to mimic the charged creeper? when it ignites, maybe the sound could be like a taser, zapping the tnt to make it deadlier. it could naturally have thorns to be like the creepers currents passing thru you? elder creeper: make it *much* sneakier, but maybe have an explosion size smaller than evolved because theyre older? slimmer, maybe have bright, glowing, faded-blue eyes. orange skin because hes an old man. leaning into the old man concept, maybe you could tame the elders? when a hostle mob is near, they could charge their explosion to scare them off, but not explode? baby enderman: no teethies, shorter arms, shorter legs, dimmer eyes. since its young, they would be weaker; maybe have them destroy crops or only pick up lighter blocks like sand, dirt, or maybe slabs. maybe when stared at, itll cry and cause a small group of endermen to start attacking you? wearing a pumpkin could make it scared, randomly teleport away, and sick an evolved enderman after you? evolved enderman: yeah, no. endermen were added because of slenderman. keep him slim. but make him VERY tall. 10-20 blocks tall. instead of moving blocks, he could outright destroy them? endermen were canonically made to destroy, from what ive heard. when looked at, make him mimic cave noises or other scary noises, and make him teleport sporatically. he could throw blocks at you maybe. still endermite-racist tho elder endyboy: end city miniboss that could very, very rarely spawn in the overworld and even rarer in the nether. immune to water. he would be as tall as my evolded, but as buff as your evolved. he has half the health of the dragon. when killed he could drop an infinite use, damageless ender pearl. das all for now. remind me like tomorrow to finish this edit: man this was 2 months ago. i used all my remaining creativity to create this comment. i dont think im ever gonna finish this lol

I've got an idea for you: an Ender Queen. It's essentially the polar opposite of the Enderman. It's white with yellow eyes, has twice the health, and instead of teleporting when you hit it... it teleports you a good distance, and keeps hunting you until one of you is dead. I loved your designs, the elder dragon, particularly. It's amazing how much that simple beard did for the esthetic. One thing I'd have done differently is the Endermen. I'd make the elders more like the Slenderman myth. Instead of beefy, I'd keep them at the same width, and raise their height, while hunching them over more and more for the evolutions. I'd probably add rag-clothes, and long fingernails,... maybe even hair. I'd brighten the Enderman, but darken the color of the eyes for both ages leading to a grey elder with soulless black eyes with maybe a tiny white pupil. The power enhancement would have been a harmless, but unhitable mirage of him left behind when he teleported for the evolved, then actual physical copies for the elder.
The Beauty of Minecraft is also the crafting. Like if the Evolved Mobs drop Items to craft powerful weapons instead of using the Parts straight up would be fun in Normal mode.

I have a idea similar to this but way different. Called the evolved mobs where it enhances the aspects of them. Like endermen can pick up blocks so why not have some randomly made structures by endermen in the overworld which you can loot for anything. Creepers that can camouflage or leave spores upon death which grow into more creepers. Zombies that attack pillagers cause they're like villagers and the fact that they're killing off food. So zombie raids upon pillager or woodlen mansions cause the grudge. Just small stuff not over the top like a literal boss mob every ten seconds then that would make minecraft just hard. Like I don't wanna leave my house just to be jumped by 50 leveled mobs waiting for me.
After some videos, I was more of the opinion that the Creeper was basically a plant, its explosions being how it spreads its spores. That could be a way to change its form instead.;)
Yk how people build custom terrain? That leaves massive gaping caverns between the old terrain and new terrain? Can you imagine accidentally opening one of those up that's been left to fester for in-game months and seeing every single elder mob just chilling down there in the hundreds.
When the elder enderman died I expected it to explode in "end energy" corrupting the land it died on with end materials like chorus and end stone or purper and other such blocks Because when it dies the power that couldn't be contained bursts forth and corrupts the ground. You could also do the same with the rain
