After all the vr accessories overpriced gimmicks, I would rather save money for a new set of VR headset than gamble on something that is not for every day use case. Plus is not completely unplayable if you don't have the gunstock, in fact it is still far better than old mouse and keyboard on a flatscreen gaming. I'm pretty sure gunstock can improve in some capacity but I will not waste money on something small but cost more than the VR headset itself
I've never changed the settings from its base settings and with recoil control I don't really know how to explain it I just kind of know how. Also another contributor is the gun you're using, if you use the M16 with a suppressor then the recoil won't be that bad, but if you use the AK it'll be very hard to control the recoil.

@@Brodiecoyote_Gaming i use the M16 alot what i do for recoil is my front hand when the gun is going up from recoil i bring my front hand down

Aiming is pretty easy in the game it's all about the recoil, after you learn how to control the recoil you're all set.
