- इस रविवार सिर्फ़ 12 सेकेंड में नोएडा की दो बहुमंजिला इमारतें धराशायी हो जाएंगी. एपेक्स और केएन नामक टावर को सुपरटेक बिल्डर ने बनाया था. बाद में पाया गया कि इन्हें बनाने में नियमों का उल्लंघन किया गया. ये देश में गिराई जाने वाली सबसे बड़ी बहुमंजिला इमारतें होंगी. 30 मंजिल वाली इमारतों को 'ट्विन टावर' कहा जा रहा है. इनकी ऊंचाई 320 फ़ीट से ज़्यादा है, और ये नोएडा के घनी आबादी वाले इलाके में स्थित हैं. इन्हें गिराने के लिए क़रीब 3700 किलोग्राम विस्फोटक का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा. धमाका कुछ इस तरह से होगा कि बिल्डिंग सीधे नीचे गिर जाए.

कोर्ट ये फैसला व्यहवारिक नहीं है। भ्रष्टाचार के कारण इस इमारत का निर्माण हुआ है परन्तु देश का ही तो पैसा बर्बाद होगा।

बात पैसा बर्बाद या सबक सिखाने की नही ही यह मुद्दा जीवन की सुरक्षा से जुड़ा हुआ है । ब्यूलिडिंग सुरक्षा मानकों को पूरा नहीं कर रही है इससे भविष्य में यहां बसने वाले को कभी भी बड़े हादसे का शिकार होना पड़ सकता था लिहाजा कोर्ट में इसे ध्वस्त करने का आदेश दिया ।
ऐसे ही आर्थिक हालात खराब है गिराने से अच्छा सरकार अपने कब्जे में ले ले।

Wouldn't it have been better to ask builder to refund the people the amount they paid with intrest and take the buildings under government and give it as living quarters for state employees like police force for sometime then demolish them at a later date once surrounding buildings which are old are due for construction are near demolishing time. If the building is safe for habitation
I see people who don't understand the situation are giving vague advices like "instead of demolition , settle poor people there , use the building as some accomodation , so much hardword has gone in building this " and what not. As a civil engineer , I can say "this building needs to be demolished as soon as possible " .... Delhi ncr is an earthquake prone zone and bhgwan na kare if a 6+ earthquake occurs , this twin tower will get flattened and will take heavy lives under it.... Meanwhile the closeness to other building will only increase the casualities.
Plus why demolition , because it will ensure safety from any future unforeseen situation. You never know a minor fire will be enough to take surrounding buildings in its grasp. So let the competent people decide. Please

I understand the distance is very less between 2 buildings is the main reason for this drastic measure as firebrigade cannot be bought in between the two buildings in case of such issue and not it's weak construction unless proven.
