3:32... On the left is PS 130; I went there for a while before we moved to Louisiana back in 1978.

There are no more tollbooths; they now have express sensors at the Manhattan end

They must have had to tear down lots of stuff to make room for those freeways in New York City.

+Trans Canada Phil Yeah or they just built right over it! I really love the elevated freeway look and it really reminds me of the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto.

they just built artificial land to place them. Similar to how battery park city was not a thing until the first world trade center was built, using the excavated dirt to place down.

Safe to say some of NYC'S roads are even tougher than your neck of the woods? Thought I read somewhere that Michigan had among THE worst roads, qualitywise, in the nation! That true?

From what I've experienced New York's roads are much, much better than Michigan's crumbling roads! Highway wise, they're about the same.

+Edward W I originally thought the reason the rating came out that bad was that Detroit city's streets may've been counted lol

+Schwenda Productions Haha there are a lot of cities in Michigan with worse roads than in Detroit.

Hello! Very informative however I wish you would have not sped up the video - and just showed it normal frame rate.
