Can we just talk about the fact that the uncle (Thomas Hughes own brother) called the police and said he thought Arthur was in serious danger. The police told him that if he went back round to their house, he would be arrested for breaking the lockdown 'rules'. What the hell does that say about our society. We are living in a world where people are not able to use their own brains. Literally the 'computer says no' generation. It says on my screen that the rules are you have to stay home, so even though you're telling me a child is in serious danger, we must follow what it says to do even though what's happening to him is worse than the virus. We're supposed to all be staying home for people's health and wellbeing so it's become that so long as you don't catch a cold, being beaten to death is ok. That is outrageous. The biggest failure of all was the police doing that. Disgusting.
Police love low hanging fruit. Easy ''crimes'' like lock down rules they can enforce are far more enjoyable and easy for them to enforce than dealing with real, difficult crimes.
Hello Smch. We as good people cant forget the horrendous abuse that those 2 monsters did to Arthur. In a few years time they will be blending into there new lives in prison, hoping that its all forgotten about. Getting there 3 meals a day, as much food and water as they want. Excersise, activites. So no justice for Arthur as yet until those 2 monsters have not got a pulse anymore. JUSTICE FOR ARTHUR
It's absolutely devastating what this poor child went through and knowing that police refused to help him because of lockdown is just horrific 😢 💔 I hope police and social services feel like they've added their own punches towards this boy's death and guilt eats them alive!!
I like the fact Emma is honest about the way she feels about these monsters in her videos. She doesn't have to sugarcoat it like she probably does on TV. On here she can express her disgust and anger like a real human being. And I'm totally with her!
Yes I agree, it's clear how she feels about them. As a christian I don't believe they should be killed as I want them to suffer for the rest of there lives knowing what they've done specially his dad who actually loved him before meeting her. He's a grown man and it angers me how he could allow someone to do that to a child he'd loved. I uestion how much he really loved him given that as soon as he meets another woman he likes he puts her before his sun.
@@ianmcnamara4994I agree, he can't have loved him that much if some woman comes before him. No good dad I know would ever do that, he's no man. They're both disgusting and pathetic and should never see the light of day again.
I can't get this little boys voice out of my head saying "no one loves me no one is going to feed me" it's the most heartbreaking thing Ive ever heard. He deserved so much better bless his little heart
Same. I actually came back to write that even a week after I first heard it, I've quite literally had nightmares in which I hear that poor, poor baby screaming that nobody loves him. As a mother, it's really worked itself into my head to hear a child screaming like that and not be able to help. Also, my mother once burnt one of my favourite comic books in front of me as a punishment, and even though it was only once it still almost makes me want to cry now when I think of it...thinking of her burning his most beloved possessions, on top of everything else, literally brings tears to my eyes. May his sweet memory forever be a blessing. 💔💔💔💔
I cared for a boy many years ago when I was a childminder for an emergency case. The little boy was on the at risk register. He was terrified of his dad and would hide behind the sofa when he’d come to collect him. I went to social services with information including photos of bruises which were clearly from fingers. They did nothing and a few years later the dad pushed the little boy down the stairs and killed him. I will never, ever forgive social services and they make the same mistakes over and over again. This little boy was the most loving little soul I’d ever met and it breaks my heart to this day to know he was left with such a monster, regardless of numerous witness statements and a huge amount of evidence. Social services seem to remove children from families who just need a bit of support and leave the ones at risk of death with the evil families. I’ve seen this over and over again over the years. It’s disgraceful.
In my experience social services will go out of their way to take our children out of our homes simply because we’re native and place them in homes where they’re beaten and killed and ignore children who actually need help and they’re beaten and killed by their parents. Lose lose so far
How sad. I am so sick of hearing every time from social services, that 'lessons will be learned'. Maybe an individual at social services may learn lessons after a case like this, but as a whole, they learn nothing. There must be something seriously lacking in their training. I'm sorry that you have to live with the pain of having known a dear little boy, who ended up like that. You must think about him a lot 😢
@@NizhonibearcreekI agree. Two years ago, my Daughter left her husband & their home, because he refused to leave. She had 2 children & had just found out that she was expecting her third. He was abusive, not physically, but mentally. She had broken her back in 7 places just a year prior, so was still suffering a lot of pain, but he wouldn't help her around the house, because the accident was 'her own fault' (she fell from a zip line). She spent a couple of weeks in hospital & he didn't even bother taking the day off work the day she went down for her surgery. He was a very mean spirited Man. I moved in with them temporarily to look after the children. He clearly didn't want me there, but at the same time, wouldn't take time off to look after them himself. I'm rambling, I'll try & cut this short. After 9 months of living in crap accommodation, she went back to him, but things didn't improve & he ended up hitting her 7 year old Son & bruising him. During this whole charade, social services didn't help her. However, her husband committed suicide a short while later & once she was a single Mum, they checked up on her constantly, & not in a nice, helpful way. They would be very demanding about what she needed to be doing, making sure that she was following certain rules & it was infuriating. They hadn't helped her one iota when she (pregnant) & with spinal problems was in damp & dangerous, private accomodation, with two children aged 4 & 6. I'm sure if they had helped her, she wouldn't have gone back to him. But as soon as there's been a suicide, they decide that they need to keep a check on them, even though her husband (who had been the problem) was no longer there. They have it all arse about face.
This makes me so sad it let's so many down I have a similar story I worked in a special needs school and a young boy was clearly being sexually and physically abused as a child, we did everything in our power as teachers to protect him. Our warnings were ignored, we filled out pink form over pink form he went from a happy chatty little boy to a non verbal, violent teenager who would expose himself. He ended being sent to a mental health facility..his mother had him on so much medication he was basically a vegetable...10 years on I often think of him and wonder how he was failed so badly 😢
One of the witnesses, a friend of Tustin's, asked her why she did not let Arthur live with his grandparents; both sets loved and wanted him. She reportedly replied that then he would have won; that would be giving him what he wants. That implies that that she enjoyed inflicting violence on him.
As a father I just can't comprehend this. I was in floods of tears watching it. I had to go and give my son the longest and deepest hug (He's almost 17 and 6 foot 3). The photo of Arthur with that quilt is etched into my heart and soul and will haunt me forever. To see such a bright light extinguished, in this cruel and callous way - breaks my heart. I have compassion for almost all human beings but, I really sincerely hope that those monsters that tortured this poor lad, face daily torture in prison, for the rest of their miserable lives. I know I shouldn't think or feel that way but I do. I want them to experience all the horrors that they subjected this innocent child to. That's what they deserve and I hope that in prison - that is what they get.

'Trying to fold his duvet' My heart pounds and breaks at this. Poor little soul to be so hurt and harmed by these child killers. My Headteacher ensured I never went home ever again after he saw what he saw. Thank God for Mr Pugh - up there with the Greats but never forgotton. Rest in Paradise little man Arthur we will not forget you. TQ Emma you def did this case justice.X
Not many cases make me cry but I sobbed. This is intensely distressing 😢 thank you for telling Arthur’s story, Emma. No child should ever go through anything like this ever. I will hold my 7 year old gorgeous little boy so much more tightly than I already do ❤️
Well said Emma 👏 I reported a neighbours children to social services because of what I heard through the walls. The parents found out it was me, and instead of changing their behaviour towards their children, they turned their abuse towards my family. My son was threatened with being run over and a brick that came through my living room window landed at my daughter’s feet. I was even threatened with a samurai sword. No services helped me. The “father” was arrested by armed police and found guilty but was returned to the house next door. We had to move house, but I would do it again if it meant a child is saved xx
Yes always report it! I have special needs kids and was reported as my kids didn't sleep and made noise. Social services came and helped us move as we were overcrowded. We also were signposted to other services I wasn't aware of. I am glad we were reported as I wouldn't have received the support I needed. We live next door to an identical family their kids have the same needs and the same noise level etc. I would much rather be investigated or get someone else Investigated than feel guilt when something like this happens.
Only just recently stumbled on Emma's channel but followed her work for years,I was about to write what we went through and it's literally what you've written, how awful you and your family had to endure that,it was horrific for us too,my husband myself and our children also moved in the end and thankfully have the best neighbours now, but like you said "I'd do it again in a shot" shame on the "authorities!" Massive failures up and down the country.hope your new neighbours are decent. Anna.X
I don’t care what anybody says, the death penalty should be brought back for this exact reason. Absolute monsters. They do not deserve prison time. That poor, poor beautiful boy. You covered this so well though Emma
The funny thing was, they dared not to do a referendum on the death penalty at the time. They already knew what the answer would be, so they abolished it without public consent.
I agree! I just found her channel tonight & I’m in ❤️. True crime & railing against authoritarian governments? Hell yeah, she just went to the top of my list!
No, most people aren't against govt. In fact, they want MORE govt. and think that will solve the problem. You wouldn't see this happen in a small tribe with no government, because one of the elders would intervene
This is one of the most upsetting cases, I still can't get the video of him saying "no one loves me" out of my head 😢. All I wanted to do was pick him up, give him the biggest cuddle, feed him, give him water and SOO MUCH OF MY LOVE💗 His smile is one I will NEVER forget! Arthur I hope you're having fun with the Angels up there xxx
What sickens me the most is that social services will ignore actual warning signs but will come after people who've had malicious claims made against them, going so far as to visit children at school to ask them if they are being abused. It needs a serious shake up
That exact thing happened to me when I was a teenager. Haven't forgiven them. I know they're under resourced but it does feel like some social workers use that as a crutch to go after easier targets.
All these poor babies being killed and hurt, tortured by their parents, parents partners and ones who were supposed to protect them. Rest in peace Arthur, Star and all the innocent others. ❤
I grew up with domestic violence and here I am, some fifty years later still needing therapy. I can’t describe the terror of being a young child and violence happening
Same. This triggers me so much! I'm listening to it for you, Arthur. Every aspect of my life is affected by domestic violence & abuse as a child. My toxic relationships, being overprotective of my children - literally everything. RIP Arthur. We will never forget you darling ♥
I never affected my my mum all 4 of us kids . She NEVER drank or smoked & my dad worked but spent most time in the pub she had NO BENIFITS NOTHING . She only slapped us if she get her hands on us bc we ran NO BELTS no kicking NO PUNCHING . She MADE sure the little she had ALWAYS sent in food . She washed my socks & 2 sister’s socks by hand & her hands BLEED to make sure our socks we’re white . We had no bathroom 🚽 . every wk clean sheets breakfast EVERY morning sometimes we had NO breakfast & my mammy REFUSED to send us to school without FOOD . But this ABUSE my life was PERFECT compared to that like boy . THANKS mammy for ALL u did for me you had NOTHING ,
They've had to stick tustain in to Segregation , give her 3weeks salt laden food and I bet they start talking about sending her to Rampton Must be terrifying knowing nearly 2000 inmates + some members of staff want you dead or close to it 😂 I hope he gets the same abuse inside too!👍
oh Emma, this one hurts really bad...I survived similar abuse as a child and this case just broke me to tears and pieces. I will watch your take, as I believe you will deliver an opinionated and very respectful commentary on what has happened. ...we seriously need to start protecting our children better, even if it has to be from their own parents! R.I.P., Arthur, you beautiful little boy
Kyr I'm so sad and sorry for what you were made to endure. I pray that your life is now filled with more love, joy and peace than you know what to do with. I was badly abused by both parents but nothing like what happened to you and Arthur. The resentment I hold.and the mental health issues I suffer with are bad enough- I cannot comprehend how you go from day to day having gone through what you have gone through. You're a very courageous man indeed. Much love and respect to you. Kerry England ❤
@@WakeyWakeyEggsandBakey Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it, really. ✊🏼🖤 Years of therapy! Still healing in a lot of ways. I have three kids and do what is humanly possible to keep them from harm. I rescue dogs and I know how to find joy and comfort in small everyday things. Some days are harder than others, I admit. Like when I'm triggered by horrific abuse that still exists in the world and goes unnoticed, swept under the rug, neglected and sometimes even enabled by the CPS of pretty much whatever country. Tonight I'm gonna be sad and angry, but thank you again for your compassion. 🖤 from Prague
Crying my eyes out. My grandson is 6 years old and I embrace his 6 year old innocence. Poor little Arthur, such an innocent little soul. Lockdown has created massive increase in DV, suicide and depression.
As a mother of a 6-year old boy, I had to stop this video soooo many times to get my breath back. I cannot imagine ever wanting to hurt my precious, snuggly, brilliant son who is still very much a mama’s boy bordering on big boy. Imagining that someone could ever hurt him in this way…well, there are no words for the hell that would rain down on their heads. I hope karma comes for her in the worst imaginable ways and for his father who allowed this. It’s just unfathomable to me. My heart is so broken for this child.
One of those cases where you feel sorry for the Jurors who had to sit through a lot more than has been released in the Press for Public consumption. The fact that she actually blames poor Arthur for inflicting the injuries himself and the ......I'm hesitating to call him a dad but he apparently talked to his girlfriend before she assaulted Arthur for the last time and told her "Just end him".How cold can you get. THAT IS YOUR LITTLE BOY YOU POS. I know you will have a few choice words for them Emma. ♡♡♡
If the jurors don't get offered a therapy dog after this, they should be offered one. This tale has spiraled many survivors of childhood abuse back into a deep depression.
The jurors have been excused from jury duty for the rest of their lives and all have taken up the offer of counselling. They also requested a minutes silence for Arthur after delivering the verdicts which the whole court observed.
@@Roo3471 They are not alone. 44 seconds of audio, and 2 minutes of video has made me realize that I might need one. I'm an old traveler. I thought I had seen, or heard it all. This shook me to the core. Arthur's cries still keeps me up at night.
I was thinking that when Emma said it was Coventry crown court. I did jury service there, 28 years ago. So glad both cases weren't as horrific as this. Monsters.
@@bohemianwriter1 I have to say, this is the first of Emma's videos that I had to think twice or three times whether I could watch this, as my mum was quite abusive - not to this extent but I'm 48 now and I still havent recovered... I am watching it but still not sure I should have...
R.I.P. Little Arthur. This case reminds me a lot of Gabriel Fernandez, where the social services, including police, failed and didn't react for the horrific abuse and neglect. It breaks my heart to think how many cases like this are happening around the world. So many children are suffering just right now and they will never get any help.
I mentioned it in another comment too but these cases are happening more often than we dare to think about in the world:( We had a case in Norway, Christoffer Gjerstad Kihle was beaten to death by his step father at the age of 8 years old, he had been through abuse over time and no one stopped it, and some even knew but didn’t want to get involved or thought other people were handling it. I think child protective services came on an announced home visit once and it wasn’t taken further as the step father was well spoken and liked. Poor kids in the hands of the person that is supposed to love them. His mother let the abuse happen as well😢 so many cases similar to each other and they just keep on happening.
Emma I’m stuck for words because we were all crying along to this one! Just to say the music and photo to remember Arthur was so poignant. When you cried I had such a strong sense of Arthur’s presence comforting you! He does have superpowers and wow I was so aware of his beautiful presence in the last 5 minutes of filming . Hope your ok ❤️ xxx
I consider myself strong handling listening to crimes, but what this beautiful little boy had to endure, broke my heart and I often listened to you describing this Emma, with tears running down my cheeks Even my 8 month old German shepherd dog came and looked at me like “what’s wrong mama” and this does not happen often. Keep up the good work Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Little Arthur's story, his face won't leave my mind; when I saw the video of him trying to fold the blanket which had covered him while he was made to sleep on the floor the previous night. 'Nobody loves me' and 'I wonder if they'll feed me' we hear him saying to himself. That poor wee boy, my heart breaks for him. Beautiful boy, rest then play and run free; you are safe now. Ann x
Emma, I could feel every emotion coming from you with Arthurs story. I'm a weird case of being 37 and not being maternal and having kids of my own because of that. I'm comfy with that choice. This breaks my heart, I can't imagine how much this must hurt every mother out there.
Everyone has a duty to safeguard a child. So I'm afraid saying the hairdresser did no wrong doesn't sit right with me, nor should it with anyone. When you witness child abuse and do nothing? You're complicit, which makes you as guilty as those inflicting the abuse. RIP Arthur 💙
Personally i would of called the Police straight away and i agree they should of called the police also straight away. But saying they are as guilty as his abusers is simply not true. Its wasn't as if they took part in the abuse or witnessed the abuse over a long period . They saw it ones which yes was enough to know this child needed help really fasttttt. Maybe they were scared physically of the his parents themselves you dont know ?.Not everyone is brave enough to stand up so is it a crime for being a Frozen in shock or scared or a Coward ?. I do know in some countries if you see a crime and dont stop it you can go to Prison to. Myself i have risked my life on the street twice for a vonrable stranger that was being abused. But not everyone has the physical or mental abilities to that i look back and i didn't think i was that brave inside. But i do agree they should of called the police later and told them wot they witnessed.
@@jasonrandall5148 They should make it law here to report child abuse if you witness it.. Imagine? We see something? then find out the child is deceased that very day? I'd rather be wrong and live with a smack in the face than a child's death on my watch.. Lots of people failed that child miserably.. And if we don't learn from that, then scum parents will keep on abusing kids.. We have to act, no matter the consequences...
Agreed, if you witness child abuse and don't act on it, you don't get a free pass. Your failure to act results in the death of a child. The hairdresser gets no forgiveness from me either.
I agree I would have defo called the police but I must add family members and the evil woman’s step father phoned the police and the social and nothing was done!!😞😞
Remembering Victoria Climbie. This beautiful little eight year old was seen by so many and blind to so many. Her injuries were devastating after months and months of torture. I will never forget you too Victoria.X
Oh Emma - I literally felt your heart break when telling this story! Well bloody done here from Cheshire east - you always do the victims justice - please never stop doing what you do xxxx
I love that someone poisoned her food with salt. Disclaimer: it’s not ok blah blah but that shit is hilarious and I know if I saw someone continue to do that, I’d pretend I saw nothing. And Emma and I deviate on one thing. I’m absolutely gleeful that she wants to kill herself. I hope it never ends and I hope they never let her.
I always watch Emma's videos at least twice because there's so much information in them and I feel in order to appreciate the amount of research she does they deserve to be viewed at least twice. When I watched this heartbreaking story again I noticed how emotional Emma became at one point about poor little Arthur, and it just proved what a kind compassionate girl she is, and that makes her more endeering to us all.
I have never cried during one of your stories but this one I literally bawled my eyes out. Physically sick to my stomach. I will never understand how anyone can treat a child (or anyone) like this.
Laura S. 😞 Even though I never met, Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, I would have love and want to help him so his evil dad Thomas Hughes and his evil stepmom Emma Tustin cannot abuse Arthur anymore. 😡 I can’t believe that his evil dad and evil stepmom would ever do this to him.
It's interesting hearing you talk about how normal parents would react to their child getting hurt. While I was listening to this story, I heard my daughter (who is almost 6 years old herself) start crying - and it's the cry of getting hurt (as a Mom, you learn what different cries mean). So I immediately threw my earbuds on the floor and ran out of the room, to find she had fallen backwards off of the bench in our kitchen. It was a total reflex to immediately pick her up, comfort her, assess what was hurt, and dry her tears. I can't even imagine the pain this little boy felt. So many parents would have taken him in to their homes, and shown him what real love, safety and compassion looks like. I, too, would like a few minutes in a cell with his Stepmom. Let her pick on someone who can and will defend themselves.
I’ve watched so many true crime stories over the past few decades and hate to say I’m almost numb to some of them. This one has me ready to vomit, shaking, and my heart is so heavy with tears in my eyes. I will never forget this poor baby boy. Arthur, I love you little boy! So many of us here love you! I hope with everything I have in me that you can feel all of us , our grief for you and our love for you. I just dont know what else to say. My heart is so broken
Imagine if Arthur’s mum is in the same prison as Emma Tustin. She deserves everything she gets. Oh Emma it is heartbreaking what Arthur went through and so many other babies and children.
Authorities wouldnt put them in the same prison as it would be asking for trouble, i know full well if i was arthurs mum and his killer walked into my prison id wanna kill her and id give it a damn good go too!
Oh my goodness Samantha I didn't even think of that. Thank you for sharing. Now my soul can feel a little bit better. And just the thought of that. Much love
@@kellywalsh30 actually it does happen not even meaning to come at you. But I have watched other specials and True Crime we're actually they do. There was one I watched where they put a father and his son in the same prison and the father absolutely despised his son. Much love
I was dreaming one of the guards would bring in a big 32oz of Morton's & pass it to the prisoners to pour down her throat (not to kill her, but see what an NaCl overdose feels like), But I really like your idea better! Follow up--> I saw in a diff vid someone suggest that now that she's isolated for protection, put Arthur's cries on a 24hr loop for her to listen to constantly... Arthur, we LOVE you!
I absolutely despair of how many times relatives, neighbours and outsiders saw what was happening to Arthur, reported their fears and evidence to authorities yet were ignored. I cannot begin to imagine how helpless, how scared and how beaten down this child was in the months leading up to his eventual death. RIP Arthur.
I struggle with how much blame to heap on SS- they were no match for a master manipulator like Tustin as she would clean the house & feed Arthur before their visit, explaining his injuries as nat for a 4yo; and we all know SS is underfunded & overworked. I can see SS, "I've seen much worse than this". Arthur, we LOVE you!
He knows his uncle Blake loves him,at one one stage of his life he was calling his uncle Blake and grandparents to come and save bcos nobody loves him inI his father house
@@seanfraid2675 they employ the wrong people... they don't employ people who lived that life because they have criminal records... the best people to work with addicts are addicts, so the best people to work with these kids are survivors, but no SS would rather employ university graduates who have had an easy life.
@@seanfraid2675 I was making a point addicts recognise addicts quicker and easier... so fill child protection units with abuse survivors, they'll see the signs better than most who have social work degree.
Massive trigger for me this case but as ever Emma looking forward to your insight, will probably need a lot of tissues for this case. Arthur you were so loved and those monsters can’t hurt you anymore 💔
It did not notify me. So I have not watched it yet. I hope you will be okay. I wish I had been here for the real-time to really videos use some tissues. Much love
There's something about Arthur's sweet little face that reaches into me & grabs my heart. His smile is so gentle & his eyes have such a bright intelligence. I don't cry easily, but the first photo you showed in this video unexpectedly made me start weeping. I don't know why Arthur touches me so, but he does, and I hope he knows how much I and many others love him.❤️
That poor little boy. I'm not a mother and never wanted to be but as you described what he went through, I just wanted to throw myself through the veil of time and grab him and just cuddle him and tell him that he is loved. This one got to me.
This one is totally heartbreaking. My heart literally hurts to think this little boy died thinking noone loved him, I can not bear that. The pain he endured not just physical but emotional everyday he had this happen to him he must of felt why am I being treated this way, what have I done wrong, poor sweet little boy. All he wanted was to feel loved, safe and secure. I just want to put my arms around this little boy and tell him he's loved. I wish I could of taken him away from the nightmare he was forced to endure. My heart is full love, these evil monsters have pure venom running throughout their hearts. Emma as always you will do a fantastic job of covering this painful story with the compassion and care that is within you X

You’re the only person I could watch cover this case, I’m intrigued to hear your breakdown because it’s going to be so much more in-depth and knowledgeable compared to what we’re getting news coverage wise. I love you Arthur. You’re loved. 💙
As the parent of an adopted child, this was triggering for me but as always, Emma, you covered with such diligence and respect! It’s so important that cases like this are highlighted and your overarching message of deliverance is one echoed by so many… We MUST do better! I’ll be sneaking in for an extra cuddle with my little man this evening! May he forevermore know how safe and loved he is. Arthur, you are so so loved!
You are without a doubt THE best true crime channel on TH-cam. The way you deep dive into every case always gives me more of an insight into these crimes than any other crime channel I watch. Your research is top notch and the way you tell each and everyone of these stories is so unique in my opinion. I've learnt so much more information about these crimes that I thought there couldn't possibly be anymore to learn but you always tell me something about them that I haven't heard before. You are are fantastic and natural storyteller! Xx
A beautiful boy that deserved so much care & love. RIP little Arthur. Your story will never be forgotten. It’s affected us all. This world can be so cruel!
1:05:00 I cannot fathom how the hairdresser friend could stand by and watch this happen to the poor child. What kind of person doesnt stop what they are doing and question the fact that the child is weak starving and clearly being abused.... the level of neglect from every single person who could have stopped this is insane.
Exactly! I would have dragged her out by her hair and protected that little boy myself! It was so obvious what was happening. So many people failed this sweet boy 🧡
Exactly. It was in the hairdressers house as well. I can't understand how she allowed this to happen. I f she didn't feel comfortable confronting them, call the police when they leave. Jesus.
Literally in tears by the end and seeing you getting emotional just hits home how heartbreaking it was to cover this case. It was utterly disgusting and henious what happened to beautiful Arthur and should never happen to anyone especially a child of 6, no child of 6 should even have the concept in their head thay no one loves them, those words shouldnt exist to them. Thank you for covering this and doing it the justice it deserved. 🖤
Every time I hear Emma talk about this I think of the movie V for Vendetta which COMPLETELY predicted this and always thought she would love that movie.
V for vendetta had nothing to do with covid. Also, stop politicizing a virus weirdos its crazy behavior. "Oh God! The flu is a Democrat!" That's exactly as intelligent as you lot make yourself come across. You didn't want towear a mask and you think you should beable to kill other people's grandparents for your 'rights.' It goes beyond goofy in to straight up reprehensible entitled behavior. The tantrums need to be done, stop acting like a virus targeted you for your maga hat, and move on.
Narcissistic abuse is like being hypnotised. When I snapped out of the spell, I am horrified at how much I let occur, but the second it started on my children is when I drew the line. But he still tried to kill us as we escaped. It's terrifying realizing someone you trusted your sacred things with, is actually very dangerous. It can be a parent, stepparent, preacher, teacher, partner, any way they become a part of your environment, you're gonna have a really bad time.
I glad you got out of there. My parents relationship was the same. Luckily they spilt when I was born. Unluckily, a lot of his traits rubbed off on her and she became an emotionally abusive alcoholic for all my life. Some people don't deserve to be parents, which includes mine. Thank god I'm an only child, because I'd hate for a sibling of mine to go through what I have.
Well done for getting out that relationship but please be aware how damaging it is for your children to witness such abuse of a parent. It can be just as damaging as receiving the abuse yourself. Please look after yourself and your children x
This case is very close to home for me and a lot of other people. I support Birmingham City and they’ve done so much for him and other children. His image is on the front of the stadium, there is an ‘Arthur’s area’ and recently an Arthur memorial kit was released which I bought and I am going to frame it. All the money made by the shirts got donated to the relevant charities. You are loved, Arthur.
This case has stirred more emotion in me in the past week than I've really known what to do with. Been through the shock, the sheer horror, the disbelief, and have sobbed more times than I care to admit. This story is truly gut wrenching. I feel I need to know EVERYTHING about what happened and so that hopefully, I can figure out why? Or have answers to how? I know that Emma will deal with the case with the utmost respect and will do the case justice. * edit.... thank you so much for NOT including audio. This was a brutal case to listen to and to hear that baby would've pushed ne over the edge. Arthur will stay with me for a long time
This reminds me of the Gabriel Fernandez case where the social services people were brought up on charges for his death. It's horrible when children are treated this way. 😞
Yes exact same thing. It’s almost Parallel Taken from his Grandparents and other family members who adored him. One of his parents in prison unable to protect him Both killed by their step parent while the natural parent allowed it and encouraged it to happen. Let down by Social Services and The Police.
Emma, I truly LOVE you for being so candid about the destruction of lockdowns. Thank you for being so honest. Please- carry on. I wish more people were so aware and kept it real.
@@paulthrutner9114 I didn’t see it that way either. It’s just part of the problem with the kids who live in abusive households... or domestic partners as well.
I hate her 999 call and the bodycam footage of her so much its just vile. Even the 999 caller knew what she was doing but she just kept going with her lies. I work with disabled children and young adults, they can really try and hurt themselves but giving themselves a life threatening head injury from banging their own head doesn't happen.
This case has had me in tears frequently and also filled me with rage. You did Arthur justice in the way you covered the case. I hope he is somewhere safe and loving now, I'm not a very religious person but I believe we do continue in someway and Arthur deserves nothing less than paradise. Thanks Emma. X
Indescribably tragic. I had the stereotypical "wicked stepmother" when I was a teen & she was as vicious to my Dad as she was to me tbh but he *always* put me first. Hearing Emma say this baby boy's father said, "Take his head off his c*nting shoulders," I suddenly started sobbing. For some reason, that hit me harder than hearing about all the physical abuse & neglect he suffered. I can't articulate how sorry I feel for this poor, mal-used, suffering little boy.
If she was mean to you, I’d wish he’d just have left her…. But I’m glad he at least prioritized you. It’s hard to leave abusers often. I hope you’re both doing ok.
@@BeckBeckGo Thank you, that's so kind of you to say. I moved a couple hundred miles away to go to Uni at 18 & he ended it with her around a year later. My Dad's dead I'm afraid but I'm doing well. Thank you for caring & I wish you all good things.
I agree with you I’m from uk 🇬🇧 Have always been anti the death penalty but in this situation I feel it would be the best out come for justice for a beautiful boy called Arthur who was completely failed by everyone
As someone who believes in Karma, I have a better suited punishment for these monsters. Let the punishment fit the crime. 14 hours a day standing straight in the cell. Being forced to watch the 6 days of video footage, eat salt lased food, restriction to access to water, sleep on the floor, while having to listen to his heart broken cries alone in the dark. Tustin and the sperm donator (I refuse to call *Hughes a dad) would certainly know how it felt for poor innocent Arthur.
I can’t cope with this case. It rips my heart to shreds. That poor baby and his desperation is beyond heartbreaking. There are many cases of abuse against children but this is so sickening. His case should be highlighted but I couldn’t have covered it, your a stronger person than I Emma. I would struggle to say a few sentences about what happened to him without breaking down completely. There are only two other cases that I cant even speak of without losing the plot. One is the family who’s babies ended up in oil tankers and the other is the poor little boy who was photographed with his head above water after he suffered unspeakable abuse at the hands of his so called care givers. Thank you Emma for educating people and highlighting the cases you do. Your work gives these children a voice we all need to hear to protect others.
@@blondie7341 …. Yes this list grows unfortunately . Only today baby Star’s so called caregivers, her own mother and off and on partner have been found guilty of horrendous abuse and murder of this sweet baby. 😢
I hope it doesn't sound disrespectful to say I'm looking forward to this, but it's a story that has to be told. RIP little Arthur.....strangers around the world love you more than your disgusting parents ever did.
I've had a realisation moment that i had never considered before.. the slither of your raw self emerged and to your immense credit you composed yourself and continued on! I don't think i ever considered the pain and trauma you must go through not only researching these deplorable cases but also presenting them to us. Thank you for this story, as hard as it was. I think you are spot on with your assessment on what lockdown really accomplished… and it was more tragedy than it was worth. I just adore you!
Absolutely heartbreaking. Emma you did that dear, sweet little boy justice. You gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. I love listening to you because we're always on the same page. You express yourself openly and honestly much to how I am. Your a true voice and advocate to these poor victims.💛
My husband and I used together (opiates) for the first year of our relationship. We got clean together the second I found out I was pregnant with our son. We’ve been together 14 years now and never relapsed once. We are lucky. Two addicts together in early recovery rarely ends well.
I agree hun ,me and my partner of 5 years are both in recovery, strangely we didn’t know each other as users ,we met when we both got out of jail, but he knew my sister who uses and I knew his brother!we encourage each other in the right ways but out of all previous couples we know who use we are the only ones who have done it!we got a flat and a cleaning business now!!well done to you guys aswell!!people who haven’t been in that situation do t realise how hard it is to stay clean!!much 💜🥰🎄🇬🇧🕯
When I first found out about this case, the first thing I thought was “I really hope Emma covers this, because I NEED TO KNOW what goes on in someone’s mind, to do this to a 6-year-old”!! Now Emma delivers! 👌🏼 thank you Emma for spending the time researching, and putting yourself through the researching process (I imagine it was nightmare provoking) to bring us this video!
I’ve just found your channel and it literally blows my mind and breaks my heart. Thank you for covering these absolutely heinous and brutal crimes, giving the angels voices that can’t be heard. I’m a mother and I couldn’t comprehend my life without them. I know the topics are very dark but have you covered Adrian Jones murder?. I know you would go in depth more than most true crime channels I’ve watched. Please remember to take time for yourself too Emma xx
This case is genuinely heartbreaking. It is a small comfort that the footage the stepmother recorded and kept helped convict them. They’ve got nowhere to hide and apparently having a horrible time in prison. They deserve everything coming to them.
Lockdown was the absolute death knell for all women and children (and probably some men as well) in vulnerable and abusive situations. So glad to hear some real talk on the subject x
lol when a woman’s partner hurts her child, we blame the mother for “putting a man before her kid”. When a man’s partner hurts his child, we blame the partner first, and lockdown second. Dad never gets the same abuse for having these monsters around that mom does. That seriously needs to stop.
I’m weeping for that precious little soul. No child, under any circumstances, should ever have to question whether or not they are loved. Heartbreaking 💔. The sadistic, systematic murder of Arther, mind, body, soul……may she suffer for the rest of her reprehensible life. Thank you for your loving, compassionate telling of his story Em xx
That recording of him saying that no one loves him or feeds him... it stays with me. No child should feel nor even think that. Gosh I just want to reach through the screen and grab him, feed him and love him AND I'm not even a maternal type of woman! That poor angel. It's cases like this that make me want to believe in an afterlife because that baby deserves the best.
I stumbled upon your channel by accident and OMG where have you been?? I absolutely love how detailed your videos are and your honesty and empathy makes them even better! New favorite TH-camr for sure!
Absolutely love and respect you Emm 💛 sending unconditional eternal universal blessings and abundant love to our little Arthur in the hands of angels ❣
This is my first time watching True Crime with Emma Kenny, and I must say it was an emotional one! I will never forget this beautiful boy. Big well done Emma for covering this truly heart breaking story, you did Arthur proud!! Definitely will check out your channel in future.
I'm in tears, this has really triggered me. So much I want to say but just can't get the words out right now. I am anti death penalty but this case makes me question myself. Thank you Emma for talking about this in the compassionate and understanding way that you always do. Arthur's smile is seared into my soul.
Hello Hazel, This is a horrendous crime and its broken my heart and yours also and so many people here in the UK and around the world probably to. These monsters deserve death. This is my thoughts to like you. When someone does a very bad crime and they get put away, you go oh thats good they are getting punished for there crimes. Wee Arthur was in prison right and those were the prison officers. They punished him so bad and then decided to end his little life with making him eat salt and have no food and water. Battered and bruised his little body. The year could have been 1821, if you were to back to the history books thats how children were treated then. As time goes by they will blend into there new life and don't forget prisoners get well looked after now with good food and plenty of water, as much as they can drink. They won't starve. The CCTV footage tells us the evil those monsters did to Arthur. Arthur has not had justice yet until they are dead. I want a campaign for this.
@@SJTay_xx Hello Saff, so am i. A MP has a campaign going just now to get in up and running. I will let Emma know more. This has to be done and those monsters have to pay for what they did. Also an example for the future. So this never happens again.
I avoided Arthur's story. I stepped in from work and saw his face on the news my house hold was in tears, I turn off the tv and hugged my son a little more tightly. This was very beautifully and very respectfully done.
I came across your page yesterday with the Star Hobson case. I heard you talking about Arthur. These stories are so heartbreaking 💔 Thank you for sharing not only their stories, but sharing about the families and about who these children were. They deserve their stories to be told the way you are telling them. I live in New Jersey, United States of America and I completely agree with you about the lock down. Praying for the families that tried so hard to fight for these kids 🙏🏻
I love your passion for the victims, Emma, especially when they are children. I don't think you owe anyone an apology for your reaction, it's your channel.
That poor child, I can’t begin to imagine what he went through. I heard today about the trial happening at the moment for a toddler called Star who died horrifically at the hands of her mother and her partner in Yorkshire. Wtf is wrong with people? What a sad f****d up world we live in. May your memories be a blessing Arthur and Star
watching live for the first time whilst being able to interact with you and the rest of the viewers was something else. massive props to your research and devotion to giving these victims (least of all an innocent little boy) a voice.
I can honestly say I cried my eyes out at this case, tragic doesn't justify what arthur the poor angel was put through, his super power was his smile! #YOUWERELOVEDARTHUR
Your rage on this one is very much appreciated. Poor little baby, what he went through. His only hope would have been his grandparents visiting him, but they could not due to the larger demented circumstances of the lockdown, for which I truly hope some people will answer in court rather sooner than later. It seems this horrible excuse of a human being that Tustin is receives punishment in prison above and beyond her formal sentence. Well.
I’m trying to imagine what the other children in the household thought and experienced ? This like other cases has space in my head which I cannot escape . I’ve shed tears . It’s horrific and these abusers deserve harder sentences . What a beautiful boy . May he rest in peace .
Emma I have watched every video you have done thus far...however I cannot watch this one. It hurts my heart too much and I have tried to avoid all the details. However I know you will do a great job at covering it ( as usual ) XXX
What?! It´s shocking.
It's absolutely devastating what this poor child went through and knowing that police refused to help him because of lockdown is just horrific 😢 💔 I hope police and social services feel like they've added their own punches towards this boy's death and guilt eats them alive!!
I would of broke every rule in the book to take that baby
Same here 😭 heartbreaking
I just want to pick him up and get him out of there
They should be tortured slowly, daily, repeatedly, cruelly, mercilessly.

You are a hero, don’t forget it. You did the right thing. Fuck those guys.
Anna.X
The world needs more decent people like yourself !!
This is why people don't report but you did the right thing.

Oh yes it should
Absolutely 👍🏻
Nar, that would be too easy for them.
Torture after torture over the years sound more appealing. Death penalty wouldn't give them that
The funny thing was, they dared not to do a referendum on the death penalty at the time. They already knew what the answer would be, so they abolished it without public consent.
I agree
I just love Emma's bias against the govt. I appreciate it. Not eveything is peachy perfect in our society

They’re lazy. They go for low hanging fruit.
If they take a child on exaggerated reasons, from a decent home, services has a guaranteed reunion success in the future, don't they?
All these poor babies being killed and hurt, tortured by their parents, parents partners and ones who were supposed to protect them. Rest in peace Arthur, Star and all the innocent others. ❤

I mentioned it in another comment too but these cases are happening more often than we dare to think about in the world:(
We had a case in Norway, Christoffer Gjerstad Kihle was beaten to death by his step father at the age of 8 years old, he had been through abuse over time and no one stopped it, and some even knew but didn’t want to get involved or thought other people were handling it.

I consider myself strong handling listening to crimes, but what this beautiful little boy had to endure, broke my heart and I often listened to you describing this Emma, with tears running down my cheeks
Even my 8 month old German shepherd dog came and looked at me like “what’s wrong mama” and this does not happen often.

I always watch Emma's videos at least twice because there's so much information in them and I feel in order to appreciate the amount of research she does they deserve to be viewed at least twice. I did too. Still am, just thinking about it.
Emma!!!! You did this little boy justice.
You are an amazing human being.

@@blondie7341 …. Yes this list grows unfortunately . Only today baby Star’s so called caregivers, her own mother and off and on partner have been found guilty of horrendous abuse and murder of this sweet baby. 😢
@janetgreenhough .. what’s the second case you mentioned?! What was the little boys name?! TIA
@@leahmancuso4697 it was Adrian Jones. 7 year old that poor little man was. His short life was horrific. Poor Adrian …. RIP beautiful boy.
Hi Emma
I’m still catching up on your videos after finding your channel a month ago…
Such a tragic story but you did a fantastic job xx
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen. Thanks for all your research. Arthur deserves his story to be heard and told. I think you did him proud! 💫
I hope it doesn't sound disrespectful to say I'm looking forward to this, but it's a story that has to be told. RIP little Arthur.....strangers around the world love you more than your disgusting parents ever did.
Not at all. This preserves Arthur's memory.
So true 💜💜💜
It's not disrespectful. It's disrespectful to look the other way, to avoid it. If everybody did that nothing would change.
Truth 😭😭😭
I've had a realisation moment that i had never considered before.. the slither of your raw self emerged and to your immense credit you composed yourself and continued on! I don't think i ever considered the pain and trauma you must go through not only researching these deplorable cases but also presenting them to us. I don't know how to end this other than saying thankyou!!! Your hard work does not go unnoticed and i hope your fan base continues to grow!!!
I make sure I treasure the victims within me, I will never forget him x
I felt my heart actually hurt and a surge of rage when you stated how many hours Arthur was made to stand for over several days. What he must have thought and felt breaks my heart and I hope to god hes in a better place where he is safe from harm. Always covering such hard cases with respect and I look forward to these every week. RIP Arthur x
Dearest Emma, a huge Well Done for covering this and bieng so professional in literally holding back the tears even when almost buckling right near the end..this really is a hard one that's probably made all of us viewers fall apart over.
Much love to you ❤❤❤❤
May Little Arthur be embraced safely in the Arms of Loving Angel's and may his Beautiful soul Forever R.I.P 😔 🌷🌷🌷
Holy cow-sorry! My niece has the same name as u, thought u were her!!
@@brenandbruiser9885 hehe that’s ok!
Absolutely heartbreaking, it's a shame that the UK don't have the death penalty for evil crimes such as this. Rest in paradise Arthur.
Death is too easy they should be kept in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives with nobody to talk to or anything to do till they go crazy!
I agree that the death penalty should be brought back too
I’ve just found your channel and it literally blows my mind and breaks my heart.
Genuinely the most hardest video of Emma’s to watch! Actually raging.. really upsetting what they did to that poor little boy.
This case is genuinely heartbreaking. It is a small comfort that the footage the stepmother recorded and kept helped convict them. They’ve got nowhere to hide and apparently having a horrible time in prison. They deserve everything coming to them.
Just as another commenter mentioned below, you're the only person I can watch/listen to covering this case. You're loved Arthur ❤
Thank you for covering this case. Please could you look into Adrian Jones case? There is also camera footage.
@angelaborcher9430. Adrians is the worst case EVER
Such a sad case. I love how you handled sensitively but gave all the details. Really enjoying this channel and I recommend it to everyone. Thank you
The courage, Emma, to cover this case. I admit I also shed tears. Bless Arthur. I hope he's kicking a ball around wherever he is. ❤️
SEE SOMETHING - SAY SOMETHING!! Don't ignore any signs!! RIP Arthur. I suspect she could not stand the fact that Arthur looked so much like his Mum.
Can't wait for this one Emma, greetings from Cyprus, and remember you always do justice 🙏❤️
His story needed to be told ❣ Absolutely heart breaking. I can imagine this was a hard case to cover.
