I just started this hobby again after quitting as a kid in the 90s when my first finished models (Tamiya BMW R75 and Kettenkraftrad kits) were stolen from the modeling club. These kind of videos are exactly what I need to get started again, so thank you. :)
I just bought the Academy Stug IV for my son's first model today. I'm supervising him building it and there was one spot I wasn't sure on myself. I watched a few videos of people putting that same kit together and it still wasn't clear to me. But the Tamiya model seems to be almost exactly the same kit piece for piece and your video was well zoomed in and clear so I could easily see what I needed to do for that one part. :D
Where can I buy one of those magic fingers which allows you to do repeat steps? It would be a great tool for every kit that has a left side and a right side! Please keep up the great work. I thoroughly enjoy your video presentations from start to finish. THANKS!
i was thinking of buying that kit but i wasn't sure, and now after i watched your video i definetly want to buy it Thanks man and keep doing these videos becaouse they really help
It's a nice kit! I'll do my best to keep making videos like this one, but they are really time consuming, expensive and not very profitable, and some times real life gets on the way... Anyway, thank you for taking your time to watch my videos and sorry for the small rant :)
I do not speak any languages except Russian. But this video does not require knowledge of languages. Everything is accessible and visually. I put the likes! Valery.
Zer0megaXX I normally put a small staple through the attaching bit of the track if they start to pull apart, it seems to keep them together quite well 👍
Tamiya is a good company. But I do not understand why the tankman does not have a belt? Where to hang a gun? There is a cabaret, but no belt! I'll have to do the strap myself ...
Well it is all about realism. Not all soldiers warn the authorized uniform and equipment. That will be obviously for you just after very few search for german wartime pictures. So Tamiya had decided that their models schall reflect that reality. Actual if you look in old Tamiya catalogs you will find that all early models always worn the authorized uniforms and that actual removed the realistic from their scale figure models. :-)
It's great for beginners! Keep in mind that the molds are 40 years old, but you can find it very (VERY) cheap and with some effort you'll have a winner :)
Yes drill a hole on the MG. Add a round MG magazine. Replace the wire with a real wire (or one in cutton glued as it was real wire) Add the fuel intake covers on the left side of the hull. (for some reason NO Tamiya Pzkmpf IV hulls have the correct fueltank covers) Next the covers for the gear system placed outside of the tank in the front hull all too small on all their Pzkmpf IV hulls too. Next between the boggies holding the small double paired road whells actual were a thick track in the hole length of the hull.
Sergio Solo what would the stug III B be matched up with, cuase im planning to buy the stug III B and a m5a1 or a stug IV and shermans, what would be a better match up?
sergio would you recommend this or the stug III B? cuase i found on amazon, but its a bit more expensive than the stug IV, im also considering the stug III G. which would be best suited for a beginner?
Normal it is about age of the forms and how old the forms was created. In the old days it was much harder to do a very detailded form (today with 3D printers everything is much easier and therefore much cheaper to create) Next if the form is old it is worn out and not so rich in details as early ones. And actual I have an very early one of the same kit and I can clearly see that some of the details are not so good as then. In particualar the loader is not looking as great now as it did when the form was new. Next it is also about supply and demand. Please understand that a form only can be used for x amount of models before it is to much warn up. Sometimes the forms is resold to another producer there dont have the same quality demands and he then produce some models cheaper but more bad and often too in a more lousy plastic quality. I hope this answered your qusetion. :-)
would you recommend this or the tamiya m8? and would this be easy to brush paint? because im afraid that it will be hard to paint in corners, so which kit is better beginner and which kit is easier to paint
I've built just a few kits, so I can only recommend them based on my short experience. From Tamiya, I think the T-62A is easier to paint than the StuG IV. Both are easy to build
will the stug IV stil be easy to paint for beginners? cuas ei cant find the t-62 on amazon since i live in can and i m ight be able to find it in the local hobby store near my house

Glad to help!
I still can remember when it came out in the late seventies. For me it is still one of the newer models...
Just built it this weekend. So many parts to clean up. They have really improved the newer models!
Buen trabajo.!. Una pregunta Como has unido las cadenas? ¿unión por calor derritiendo la unión? ¿pegamento?
I have always been a big fan of the StuG III and IV. You got to love a Stug. Thanks for sharing this.
I got a StuG III very recently, and right now I'm editing the Painting process video of the StuG IV, so stay tuned! I think by Sunday it'll be ready
I'm looking forward to seeing the paint process and have fun with the StuG III.
Classic tamiya armour kit👍
Great build your doing just starting mine got some spare guys from the 88 left over doing it with them on in Bocage country re loading
So, I have this model on the way, gonna finish my EZ8 first.

Sorry, but a magician never reveals his secrets! 🎩 🐰 Thank you for visiting my channel and taking your time to comment 🤓
It is quite a nice kit especially when you think how old it is , i believe it came out in the late 1970s or very early 80s , i built one in 1982 .
🚲 Says '76 at the front of the video.
i was thinking of buying that kit but i wasn't sure, and now after i watched your video i definetly want to buy it

The assembling is nice, but the painting is perfect
love the video especially the magic finger . if im correct that towing cable would go on the front or hung on the hooks but not 1005 sure on that
Thank you for making this video without it i wouldnt be able to built it :))) instructions are too complicated
Miss my Sergio!
I like your finger tap method, very funny!
One of my favorite tanks! Many thanks for the entertaining video! Thumbs up! 👍
7:28... it would be just as easy to use your exacto to drill a hole for the shovel. 🤔

I do not speak any languages except Russian, yet types in english ;)
+валерий калиниченко I'm glad you found it useful, Valery! Thank you for taking the time to translate your comment :)
+Marko Senli Well, there's this little thing called Google translator :P I guess that's what she used
Lost parts and upside-down parts are something I thought that only *I* did - watching this I feel better now.
We all make mistakes :)
Very Funny!!!! The best built review on the youtube!
You're very kind :)
+Sergio Solo why no paints ? and decals attached
It's a work in progress. Just wanted to share the building process in this video
+Sergio Solo oh OK well my friend keep up the good work and God speed
just about to start this one 💯👌
Really well done and entertaining video
Great video! I love the positive aura about it.
Awwwwe crap now I want this one as well... errrrr gonna make me broke LOL.
I know the feeling! So many cool projects, so little time :)
In finland its a super cheap model
@@bloro2812 As a Finn who just picked up the hobby again, I am glad to hear that. :)
Me too! I always get a smile from the magic. :)
Good job. Really nice those magic effects!
fantastic music for this purpose. It did not drive me insane but instead inspired me to be in a better mode. :-)
Is not really "music", rather an ossessive rhytm
Very, very nice! Congratulations!
Thanks!
Cool build reminds me of the tan army men now do one in green
Good vid dude !
I'd have glue all over my fingers , parts missing , etc.........now paint it......
Cool video, thanx!
Perfecto !
Que pegamento usas
Amazing edit, subscribed!
The first interesting video obout models
🚲 Really.
Can you find a good KV3 or KV4 model?
Я залип!!!
what about also paint it? maybe before putting all toghether
This is the first video in the series. I paint it in the second video and weather it in the third one
Any advice for making the tracks pin togeather easily?
Zer0megaXX I normally put a small staple through the attaching bit of the track if they start to pull apart, it seems to keep them together quite well 👍
🚲 I heat up a flathead screwdriver and mush the joining pins into one blob.🔥🗡

Stug 4 excellent modèle 👍👍👍👍👍
実はカッケー😉
you changed your channel name ? any way I love your editing style , keep them videos comming !
Yes I did! I always thought that the old one was too long, not very catchy and specially hard to pronounce for most of my viewers
Good to know :) by the way would you recomend the kit ? Is it any good ?
It's great for beginners! Keep in mind that the molds are 40 years old, but you can find it very (VERY) cheap and with some effort you'll have a winner :)
All right! Thank you

Good old battery compartment
Do you personaly like the looks of the stug IV or the stug III B?
+Tommy Lakasi Tommy, please choose the one you like the most. Both of them are good and easy to build kits
Sergio Solo what would the stug III B be matched up with, cuase im planning to buy the stug III B and a m5a1 or a
stug IV and shermans, what would be a better match up?
Sorry, I do not know
which one would you like more? a stug IV with sherman, or stug III B with m5a1, just search them up
StuG B was very early war, the best pairing would be anything French, The Crusader, Matilda, M3 Lee/Grant and early Soviet T-34/76s and KVs
what name this glue
sergio would you recommend this or the stug III B? cuase i found on amazon, but its a bit more expensive than the stug IV, im also considering the stug III G. which would be best suited for a beginner?
I'd say the StuG IV is better for beginners. It doesn't have interior or photo etched parts
Did you cut the track bit?
old but nice kit
Can you paint it please
I love this set you made its really well! Have you every tried there M3?
Thank you! No, I haven't :)
+Sergio Solo it's really good
how much
Nice :)
Thanks!
Quality presentation
Do you play world of tanks?
What type of glue did u use
Tamiya Extra Thin Cement
Isn't this an Academy kit?
No. It's an old Tamiya kit, from 1976
Sergio Solo I checked the model I recently got and It had the same parts and sprues from this video
Academy copied Tamiya's sprues. They released their kit in 1987
Sergio Solo oh ok
Where did you get this kit.
Subscribed
Why is this stug 3 half the price of tamiya A’s other stug 3 model?

Henrik H thanks Henrik, I’ve learnt from your explanation
Good beginner?
Definitely 👍I had no problem with fitting nor seam lines, and the number of parts is pretty low
would you recommend this or the tamiya m8?

nvm i found it
What? No paint?
Stug 4. Still, why is the smaller stug 3 twice the price of this kit?
Боя може би!!!
So many cuts, it's really painful to watch...
Лайк👍👍
👁👁
Its not finished what about the painting cmon........
So, you didn't find the rest of the videos. C'mon man
relistic painting level 0
Эффекты повторения ужасны,озвучка бред,покраска отсутствует,сборка бедра на идеи...
The gods created two things to annoy man. Religion. And damned repetitive plucky guitar music.
No painting? Por que no pinture?
