For what it is worth. Despite this game being the biggest black sheep of the franchise, it has left quite the impression on me, enjoying it since I was young. It had many neat ideas for a spin-off and there are in fact many things left in the games coding that have gone unused as this game was 100% not given enough development time.
It's a decent entry in the series, it's just that it's not as polished as Worms 3D was not to mention it was the 10th one. Even by the time Worms 4 Mayhem got released, I thought there were way too many Worms games in the series. If only I knew... As for being the black sheep of the series, I think Worms Rumble gets the crown.
@@P9HL2BETA Yea that's true, but it still is 2nd to Worms Rumble in that case haha. From my experience I had known or at least heard of Worms Forts being disliked or otherwise just not much talked about in general maybe the small general consensus has changed on it somewhat. Its definitely a good enough game, but its for sure lacking polish in most areas.
