    I love Galils, I want one of each of the versions one day, not any ugly ass ACE models though. An AR and SAR in 5.56, an ARM and SAR in 7.62 Nato and a Micro Galil.
    The lame part of 7.62 SAR though is the barrels are 15.75" (I'm American) I think for that reason I'll probably never find a parts kit for that particular model, its the only one I've never seen.
    Does your "Galil AR" have the correct length 21" barrel? It looks perfect to me, the only thing missing is the bayonet lug which sometimes wasn't installed depending on the country that bought them.

    AK's are fun. Doesn't matter which it is.
    Thought I'd add; I have seen more Valmet's than magazines for them.

      Funny how that is. There was a company that was looking to reproduce them out of a polymer. I don’t think that ever happened though.

    • @KB-kw8ni

      Galil is not an AK. It does not adhere to the technical data package specs and most parts are not interchangeable

      You spent much time with either weapon?

      @@schrodingersgat4344 Well you certainly could say just about every gun has influences or family lineage from others but that does not make it an AK. It's really just its own type of gun. The Galil also has FAL influence in it but we do not call it an FAL

    Bro if you can acquire one and are inclined to make a video I’d love to see if you can get a Swedish AK5 basically Sweden’s version of the FNFNC. I’d love to get one but in the USA our import laws make that impossible I’m not sure what kind of import laws are in Canada but I’ve seen your sig 556 video and I think you’d like the AK5

      There were very few Valmet’s imported to Canada. The only place to get them now is on the used market. Canadian Gun Nutz has the best classified section, but there are a lot of hoops to jump through before you can even view the classifieds to prove you’re not a bot or scammer.

    • @john-paulsilke893
      @john-paulsilke893 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup, the hoops are real and after jumping through a few I simply gave up and just went to my local stores. Absolutely you can save some money but I’m not exactly a big fan of going into someone’s garage or basement to buy a gun or trying to arrange a day/time at a local range for the same thing.

    Hey I have another question about your guys magizine laws in canada. What about 458 socom. Ten round limit right?? So that would be a standard 30 round pmag? How do you guys deal with that? Thanks man. Great videos keep them coming brother!

    • @marc-andreservant201
      @marc-andreservant201 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      .458 SOCOM mags that have a 10 round capacity would only be legal if designed for a handgun "commonly available in Canada". Which won't apply to AR pattern pistols. See Ian Runkle's video. When the amnesty expires you almost certainly will need to pin them to 5 rounds.
